अहमदाबाद — गुजरात के अहमदाबाद के अंबाजी क्षेत्र के चरवड़ा गांव में रहने वाले प्रह्लाद जॉनी उर्फ चुंदरी वाले माताजी ने आज अंतिम सांस ली। उन्हें कुछ दिनों से कफ की शिकायत थी। उनका पार्थिव शरीर अंबाजी स्थित उनके आश्रम लाकर श्रद्धालुओं के दर्शन के लिये रखा गया है। दो दिन बाद यानि 28 मई को जॉनी के पार्थिव शरीर को समाधि दी जायेगी।चुंदरी वाले माताजी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध जॉनी जीवन भर मेडिकल साइंस के लिये पहेली बने रहे। श्रद्धालुओं का दावा है कि 13 अगस्त 1929 को जन्में जानी 12 साल की उम्र से साधना कर रहे थे। तब से लेकर जीवन पर्यन्त उन्होंने ना तो कुछ खाया है और ना ही जल ग्रहण किया है , वे बगैर भोजन पानी के जिंदा रहे। इन दावों के बाद अहमदाबाद के स्टर्लिंग अस्पताल के चिकित्सकों ने रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (DRDO) के सहयोग से यह जानने के लिये शोध भी किया था कि कोई व्यक्ति इतने साल से बगैर कुछ खाये-पीये और बिना मल-मूत्र का त्याग किये कैसे जिंदा रह सकता है? लेकिन चिकित्सकों के हाथ कुछ भी नहीं लगा था। सच का पता लगाने के लिये जॉनी को 15 दिन तक 24 घंटे कैमरे की निगरानी में रखा गया था।जांँच के दौरान यह दावा सही पाया गया था। 15 दिन में एक बार भी जॉनी कुछ खाते-पीते नजर नहीं आये थे। यह मानव शरीर के सिस्टम के लिहाज से किसी से चमत्कार से कम नहीं था। चिकित्सकों को उम्मीद थी कि ऐसा क्यों और कैसे हो रहा है ? यदि इसकी जानकारी मिल जाये तो यह अंतरिक्ष यात्रियों के साथ ही दुर्गम स्थलों पर देश की सरहदों की सुरक्षा कर रहे सैनिकों के लिये बड़े काम की हो सकती है। लेकिन रिसर्च के बावजूद चिकित्सक इसका पता नहीं लगा पाये।
