एसईसीएल द्वारा बिलासपुर शहर में पहली बार मियावाकी पद्धति से वन विकास की पहल
बिलासपुर ।पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं हरित भविष्य के निर्माण की दिशा में कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड द्वारा 21 जुलाई 2026 को एक ही दिन में सर्वाधिक पौधारोपण कर गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड स्थापित करने के राष्ट्रव्यापी अभियान के अंतर्गत साउथ ईस्टर्न कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (एसईसीएल) ने आज बिलासपुर के कोनी स्थित नवीन कमिश्नर कार्यालय के पीछे 1.5 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में मियावाकी पद्धति से 15,000 पौधों का वृहद् वृक्षारोपण किया।यह परियोजना संभवतः बिलासपुर शहर की पहली मियावाकी वन परियोजना है, जिसे एसईसीएल द्वारा विकसित किया जा रहा है। मियावाकी तकनीक के माध्यम से विकसित होने वाला यह सघन शहरी वन आने वाले वर्षों में जैव विविधता के संवर्धन, हरित आवरण में वृद्धि तथा स्थानीय पर्यावरण को सुदृढ़ बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम में एसईसीएल के अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक हरीश दुहन, बिलासपुर संभाग के आयुक्त सुनील कुमार जैन, एसईसीएल के निदेशक (एचआर) बिरंची दास, निदेशक (वित्त) डी. सुनील कुमार, सीवीओ हिमांशु जैन, निदेशक तकनीकी (यो./परि.) रमेश चन्द्र महापात्र, कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड के कार्यपालक निदेशक के. राजशेखर, महाप्रबंधक (पर्यावरण) संजय सिन्हा, सहित कंपनी के विभागाध्यक्ष एवं वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। सभी अतिथियों ने पौधारोपण कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण तथा जनभागीदारी के महत्व का संदेश दिया।
इस अवसर पर एसईसीएल के अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक हरीश दुहन ने कहा, “पर्यावरण संरक्षण केवल एक दायित्व नहीं, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के प्रति हमारी सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है। मियावाकी पद्धति से विकसित किए जा रहे ऐसे सघन वन न केवल हरित आवरण बढ़ाने में सहायक होंगे, बल्कि जैव विविधता संरक्षण, पारिस्थितिक संतुलन तथा जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभावों को कम करने में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे।” कोल इंडिया के इस गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड अभियान के अंतर्गत सभी अनुषंगी कंपनियों में वृहद स्तर पर पौधरोपन किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में एसईसीएल द्वारा अपने विभिन्न परिचालन क्षेत्रों में कुल 3,20,000 से अधिक पौधों का वृक्षारोपण किया जा रहा है। यह अभियान न केवल एक विश्व रिकॉर्ड स्थापित करने का प्रयास है, बल्कि भावी पीढ़ियों के लिए अधिक स्वच्छ, हरित एवं संतुलित पर्यावरण के निर्माण की दिशा में एसईसीएल का एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम भी है।
