बिलासपुर। बिलासपुर में कोरोना जांच का लैब स्थापित करने की मांग हाईकोर्ट में याचिका दायर करने के बावजूद पूरी नहीं हो सकी इधर रायगढ़ के शासकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज को इसकी मंजूरी आज मिल गई।
एम्स रायपुर ने ट्वीट कर जानकारी दी है कि रायगढ़ के लखीराम अग्रवाल स्मृति शासकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज को कोरोना की जांच की अनुमति मिल गई है। एम्स रायपुर के निदेशक प्रो. (डॉ.) नितिन एम. नागरकर ने बताया है कि आईसीएमआर के निर्देशों के अनुसार रायगढ़ में यह टेस्टिंग सुविधा प्रारंभ की जा रही है।
रायगढ़ में लैब स्थापित हो जाने से जशपुर, अम्बिकापुर, रायगढ़ जिलों के सैम्पल की जांच रिपोर्ट शीघ्रता से मिल सकेगी। इसे मिलाकर अब छत्तीसगढ़ में चार स्थानों पर कोरोना जांच हो सकेगी। इनमें रायपुर में दो तथा जगदलपुर मेडिकल कॉलेज शामिल है।
उल्लेखनीय है कि कोरोना टेस्ट की रिपोर्ट देर से मिलने और सरगुजा तथा बिलासपुर संभाग की रिपोर्ट मिलने में देरी होने का हवाला देते हुए बिलासपुर में भी कोरोना टेस्ट लैब की मांग की गई थी। इसे लेकर हाईकोर्ट में एक जनहित याचिका भी दायर की गई थी। हाईकोर्ट ने सरकार को एक दिन के भीतर जवाब भी मांगा। इसके लिए स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों ने एक निजी अस्पताल और सिम्स का निरीक्षण भी किया लेकिन आईसीएमआर की मंजूरी नहीं मिल पाने के कारण बिलासपुर में तत्काल लैब खोलने में असमर्थता जता दी। यह उल्लेखनीय है कि सिम्स मेडिकल कॉलेज बिलासपुर, रायगढ़ के मुकाबले बड़ा और पुराना है।
हालांकि रायगढ़ में लैब की सुविधा होने से अब उत्तरी छत्तीसगढ़ के दूरस्थ जिलों के टेस्ट रिपोर्ट जल्द मिल सकेंगे।
