नई दिल्ली-प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मंगलवार की सुबह 10 बजे देश को संबोधित करेंगे. माना जा रहा है कि वह कोरोना वायरस की वजह से लगाए गए लॉकडाउन को लेकर नया ऐलान करेंगे. मुख्यमंत्रियों के साथ हुई बैठक में संकेत दिए हैं कि लॉकडाउन को 30 अप्रैल तक बढ़ा दिया जाएगा. इस पर लगभग सभी राज्यों ने सहमति भी दी है.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ शनिवार को हुई मुख्यमंत्रियों की वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिये बैठक के बाद सरकार की ओर से यह जानकारी दी गई. बैठक में प्रधानमंत्री ने मुख्यमंत्रियों से कहा कि अब आमजन का स्वास्थ्य सुनिश्चित करने के साथ देश की समृद्धि पर ध्यान केंद्रित करें. मोदी ने इस बैठक में मुख्यमंत्रियों से कहा कि ध्यान अब ‘जान भी, जहान भी’ पर होना चाहिए. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के ‘उज्ज्वल भविष्य, समृद्धि एवं स्वस्थ भारत’ के लिए यह जरूरी है. सरकार के एक प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि भारत में कोरोना वायरस के मुद्दे पर वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के दौरान अधिकतर राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्रियों ने प्रधानमंत्री से लॉकडाउन को दो सप्ताह के लिए और बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया. प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि सरकार इस आग्रह पर विचार कर रही है.
