राँची –शिक्षा सशक्तीकरण का प्रभावी माध्यम बेटियाँ होती हैं। हमारी बेटियांँ उच्चशिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर रही हैं। अधिकांश विश्वविद्यालयों के दीक्षांत समारोह में मैंने देखा है कि गोल्ड मेडल विजेताओं में बेटियांँ अधिक होती हैं। आपके विश्वविद्यालय (सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी) में पिछले छह वर्षों में 96 में से 64 छात्राओं ने गोल्ड मेडल प्राप्त किया है। बेटियों का ये शानदार प्रदर्शन सुनहरे भारत की एक झलक दिखाता है। बेटों की तुलना में बेटियों को चुनौतियों और बाधाओं का अधिक सामना करना पड़ता है। विश्वविद्यालय के संचालन में समाज का योगदान होता है। विश्वविद्यालय अपने स्तर पर गांव को गोद ले सकता है उनके प्रगति में सहभागी हो सकता है। आधुनिक युग में पढ़ाई का ध्येय अलग-अलग है लकिन मेरे ख्याल से शिक्षा का ध्येय छात्र को अच्छा इंसान बनाना होना चाहिये।
उक्त उद्गार महामहिम राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने आज रांँची के मनातू स्थित सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी के दीक्षांत समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि व्यक्त किये। समारोह में महामहिम राष्ट्रपति के अलावा उनकी पत्नी सविता कोविंद , राज्यपाल द्रौपदी मुर्मू, सीयूजे के चांसलर जस्टिस वी०एन० खरे भी मौजूद रहे।
10 छात्रोंको राष्ट्रपति ने दिया गोल्ड मेडल
राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने इससे पहले 10 छात्रों को गोल्ड मेडल दिया। बता दें कि यहां 96 टॉपरों में से सिर्फ 18 टॉपरों को गोल्ड मेडल दिया गया। 10 टॉपर्स के अलावा 08 टॉपर्स को सीयूजे के चांसलर जस्टिस वीएन खरे ने गोल्ड मेडल दिया। समारोह में कुल 596 पास आउट छात्रों को उपाधि दी गई। इसमें पीजी के 493 और यूजी के 103 विद्यार्थी शामिल रहे। इस दौरान राष्ट्रपति ने चेरीमनातू स्थित विश्वविद्यालय के नये परिसर का उद्घाटन भी किया।
इसके पहले राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद शुक्रवार को झारखण्ड पहुंँचे। एयरपोर्ट पर राज्यपाल द्रोपदी मुर्मू , सीएम हेमन्त सोरेन और मेयर आशा लकड़ा ने उनका स्वागत किया। एयरपोर्ट से राष्ट्रपति राजभवन के लिये रवाना हो गये। शाम को राष्ट्रपति राजधानी के चेरी मनातू स्थित सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी के कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुये। इसके बाद राजभवन में ही आज रात्रि विश्राम करेंगे।
