बिलासपुर । अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी विश्वविद्यालय के योग विज्ञान विभाग के विद्यार्थी योग को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने के लिए कर्मठता से प्रयत्नशील हैं। इस कार्य में विभागाध्यक्ष गौरव साहू एवं योग अनुदेशक सुश्री मोनिका पाठक का सतत मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त होता रहा है। इसी श्रृंखला में आज दिनांक 28 अप्रैल 2023 को गुरु घासीदास केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय के जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग में निःशुल्क योग प्रशिक्षण का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया था। इस कार्यक्रम में बीएससी बायोटेक्नोलॉजी के 54 छात्रों ने सहभागिता की। योग प्रशिक्षणार्थी श्वेता सुमन अनंत, प्रिया साहू एवं पी. सुमन को आमंत्रित किया गया था जो अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी विश्वविद्यालय में योग विज्ञान विभाग में अध्ययनरत हैं। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों को कमर्शियल योग सिखाया गया।
आज के इस जीवन में विद्यार्थियों तथा कामकाजी लोगों को लंबे समय तक एक ही स्थान पर बैठकर काम करना पड़ता है। मोबाइल और कंप्यूटर के लंबे समय तक इस्तेमाल करने से एवं लगातार एक ही स्थिति में बैठे रहने के कारण लोग शारीरिक एवं मानसिक तनाव से जूझ रहे हैं। इसी विषय को ध्यान में रखते हुए विद्यार्थियों को कुर्सी पर बैठकर किए जाने वाले सूक्ष्म व्यायाम, आसन, प्राणायाम एवं ध्यान के बारे में प्रशिक्षित किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत ओम एवं गायत्री मंत्र के उच्चारण से किया गया। तत्पश्चात पैर, हाथ, गर्दन, कमर, एवं आंखों से संबंधित सूक्ष्म व्यायाम किए गए। ताड़ासन एवं वृक्षासन का अभ्यास भी कराया गया। प्राणायाम में उद्गीथ, कृपालु, नाड़ी शोधन, भस्त्रिका, कपालभाति, सूर्यभेदी, चंद्रभेदी, शीतली, सीत्कारी एवं भ्रामरी का अभ्यास कराया गया। अंत में प्रेरक प्रसंग के साथ योग निद्रा का अभ्यास कराया गया जिसमें विद्यार्थियों को गहन शांति की अनुभूति हुई। कार्यक्रम का समापन धन्यवाद ज्ञापन से हुआ जिसमें श्वेता, प्रिया और सुमन को कमर्शियल योग प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया गया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ विकास चन्द्रा ने किया।
