मुम्बई – मशहूर संगीतकार और गायक बप्पी लहरी (69 वर्षीय) का मंगलवार को देर रात ग्यारह बजे मुंबई के क्रिटिकेयर अस्पताल में स्वास्थ्य उपचार के दौरान निधन हो गया। बीते साल अप्रैल के महीने में बप्पी लहरी कोरोना वायरस की चपेट में आ गये थे। इसके बाद मुंबई के ब्रीच कैंडी अस्पताल में उनका इलाज चल रहा था। कुछ दिन के इलाज के बाद उनकी रिकवरी हो गई थी। बप्पी लाहिड़ी ऑब्स्ट्रक्टिव स्लीप एपनिया और रीकरेंट चेस्ट इन्फेक्शन से गुजर रहे थे। डॉ. दीपक नामजोशी उनका इलाज कर रहे थे। इस गंभीर समस्या के कारण बप्पी दा जुहू स्थित क्रिटिकेयर हॉस्पिटल में 29 दिनों तक भर्ती रहे थे। पंद्रह फरवरी को ठीक होने पर वे अस्पताल से डिस्चार्ज कर दिये गये थे। डिस्चार्ज होने के एक दिन बाद ही बप्पी दा की तबीयत दोबारा बिगड़ गई और उन्हें वापस गंभीर हालत में क्रिटिकेयर अस्पताल लाया गया। जहां देर रात उन्होंने अस्पताल में अपनी आखिरी सांसे ली। बप्पी लहरी के निधन पर प्रधानमंत्री , गृहमंत्री सहित संगीतकारों एवं उनके फैंस ने शोक जताया है , वहीं कई सेलेब्सों ने उन्हें घर पहुंचकर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की है।
बप्पी का जीवंत स्वभाव स्मरणीय – पीएम मोदी
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बप्पी लहरी के निधन पर शोक जताते हुये ट्वीट किया। ‘’बप्पी लहरी का संगीत सर्वांगीण था , विविध भावनाओं को खूबसूरती से व्यक्त करता था। सभी पीढ़ियों के लोग उनके काम से जुड़ाव महसूस करते हैं , उनका जीवंत स्वभाव सभी को याद रहेगा। उनके निधन से दुखी हूं , उनके परिवार और प्रशंसकों के प्रति मेरी संवेदनायें। ओम शांति। वहीं गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने लिखा है, ‘’महान गायक और संगीतकार बप्पी लहरी जी के निधन के बारे में जानकर दुखी हूं। उनके निधन से भारतीय संगीत की दुनियां में एक सूनापन पैदा हो गया है। बप्पी दा को उनके बहुमुखी गायन और जीवंत स्वभाव के लिये याद किया जायेगा।
गौरतलब है कि बप्पी लाहिरी का जन्म 17 नवंबर 1952 को पश्चिम बंगाल के जलपाईगुड़ी (कलकत्ता) में शास्त्रीय संगीत की समृद्ध परंपरा वाले परिवार में हुआ था। उनके पिता अपरेश लाहिरी एक प्रसिद्ध बंगाली गायक थे और उनकी मां बंशोरी लाहिरी एक संगीतकार और एक गायिका थीं जो शास्त्रीय संगीत और श्यामा संगीत में पारंगत थीं , वे उनकी इकलौती संतान थे। बप्पी लाहिरी का असली नाम आलोकेश लाहिरी था। उन्हें भारतीय सिनेमा में डिस्को संगीत के उपयोग करने का श्रेय जाता है। बप्पी को गहनों का बहुत शौक था और वह आमतौर पर सोने के गहने और काला चश्मा पहने रहते थे। वह अपने शरीर पर एक करोड़ रुपये (लगभग) से अधिक का सोना पहनते थे जिसका वजन लगभग दो किलो (लगभग) होता था। एक इंटरव्यू में उन्होंने बताया था कि किसी ज्योतिष ने उन्हें सोने के गहने पहनने करने की सलाह दी थी। उन्होंने अपने इसी अलग अंदाज की वजह से फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में अपनी अलग पहचान बनायी थी। उनको बचपन से ही संगीत से प्यार था , उन्होंने महज तीन साल की छोटी सी उम्र में तबला सीखना और संगीत की शिक्षा लेनी शुरू कर दी थी। कहा जाता है कि बप्पी दा ने अपने माता-पिता से ही संगीत की शिक्षा ली थी। उन्होंने अपने सफर के दौरान कई हिट सॉन्ग गाये हैं। बप्पी लहिरी को बॉलीवुड का पहला रॉक स्टार सिंगर भी कहा जाता है। इन्होंने महज 19 साल की उम्र में अपने केरियर की शुरुआत की थी। मुंबई आने के बाद उन्हें पहला ब्रेक बंगाली फिल्म ‘दादू’ 1972 में मिल गया था। इसके बाद उन्होंने वर्ष 1973 में फिल्म ‘शिकारी’ के लिये म्यूजिक कंपोज किया था। ताहिर हुसैन की हिंदी फिल्म ज़ख्मी (1975) से उन्हें बॉलीवुड में खुद को स्थापित किया और एक पार्श्व गायक के रूप में पहचान बनायी। बप्पी दा के गाये गीत ‘बंबई से आया मेरा दोस्त , आई एम ए डिस्को डांसर , जूबी-जूबी , याद आ रहा है तेरा प्यार , यार बिना चैन कहां रे , तम्मा तम्मा लोगे , आज भी लोगों की जुबां पर चढ़े रहते हैं। बप्पी दा ने वर्ष 1977 में चित्रानी के साथ शादी की थी। बप्पी लहरी 1980 और 1990 के दशक में वर्दत , डिस्को डांसर , नमक हलाल , शराबी , डांस डांस , कमांडो , साहेब , गैंग लीडर , सैलाब जैसे फिल्मी साउंडट्रैक के साथ लोकप्रिय हुये थे। उन्होंने अमर संगीत , आशा ओ भालोबाशा , अमर तुमी , अमर प्रेम , मंदिरा , बदनाम , रक्तलेखा , प्रिया जैसी बंगाली फिल्मों में हिट गाने दिये। वर्ष 2011 में उन्होंने विद्या बालन की फिल्म ‘डर्टी पिक्चर’ में ‘ऊ ला ला …’ गाना गाया था , जो सुपरहिट हुआ। इस गाने से उन्होंने फिर बॉक्स आफिस पर सनसनी मचा दी थी। उनका आखिरी बॉलीवुड गाना ‘भंकस’ 2020 की फिल्म ‘बागी 3’ के लिये था। बिग बॉस 15 में आखिरी बार स्क्रीन पर नजर आये थे। हैं।
