रायपुर । राष्ट्रीय विकलांग मंच के महासचिव एवं झारखंड विकलांग मंच के अध्यक्ष अरुण कुमार सिंह ने प्रधानमंत्री को पत्र लिखकर दिव्यांग महिलाओं को राष्ट्रीय एवं राज्य स्तर पर महिला आयोग में शामिल करने की मांग की थी. इस पर संज्ञान लेते हुए प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय ने
आवश्यक कार्रवाई का भरोसा दिया है. प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय की ओर से पत्र के माध्यम से श्री सिंह को यह सूचना दी गयी है. मालूम हो अरुण कुमार सिंह ने प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय को एक पत्र लिखकर कहा था कि देश की कुल आबादी में दिव्यांगजनों की संख्या 5% से अधिक है. इसलिए जिस प्रकार अनुसूचित
जाति एवम जनजाति,पिछड़ा वर्ग तथा
अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय से महिलाओं की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की जाती है उसी प्रकार राष्ट्रीय एवं राज्य स्तर पर महिला आयोग में सदस्य के रूप में मनोनीत कर दिव्यांग महिलाओं की भी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की जाये. श्री सिंह ने प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय को संज्ञान लेने पर धन्यवाद दिया एवं आशा व्यक्त की है कि जल्द ही ठोस परिणाम निकलेंगे ।
