मरवाही — छत्तीसगढ़ में एकमात्र सीट मरवाही में होने वाले उपचुनाव में निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने ऋचा जोगी के बाद जेसीसीजे प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अमित जोगी का नामांकन निरस्त कर दिया। इसके अलावा बी फॉर्म नहीं होने के कारण जेसीसीजे के एक और उम्मीदवार पुष्पेश्वरी तंवर का नामांकन निरस्त हो गया। नामांकन जमा करने की अंतिम तारीख 16 अक्टूबर थी, वहीं आज नामांकन की स्क्रूटनी हुई। स्कूटनी प्रक्रिया में जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने अमित जोगी, ऋचा जोगी, ओमकरण पोर्ते, गुलाब सिंह, मूलचंद कुशराम और पुष्पेश्वरी तंवर सहित कुल छ: प्रत्याशियों का नामांकन निरस्त हुआ है वहीं मरवाही उपचुनाव के लिये अब कुल तेरह नामांकन वैध पाये गये हैं। जनता कांग्रेस छत्तीसगढ़ के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अमित जोगी ने अपने और अपनी पत्नी ऋचा जोगी के नामांकन को निरस्त किये जाने को कांग्रेस पर हमला बोलते हुये राज्य सरकार के इशारे पर की गई कार्रवाही और राजनीतिक षडयंत्र बताया। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि निर्वाचन अधिकारी की अदालत अंतिम नहीं है , वे न्याय के लिये देश की सबसे बड़ी अदालत में जा रहे हैं और अगृ जरूरत पड़ी तो हम निर्वाचन को ही रद्द करायेंगे।
