रिपुसूदन वर्मा की अनोखी पहल: मवेशियों, पक्षियों व पशुओं के लिए जल उपलब्धता पर अनुकरणीय कार्य
सुहेला।गर्मी के दिनों में जंगली एवं पालतू मवेशियों के प्यास बुझाने नगर के प्रतिष्ठित व्यवसायी एवं ठेकेदार रिपू सुदन वर्मा ने जमुनईया नाला के गहरीकरण का अनोखी एवं अनुकरणीय पहल किया है। जिसके लिए बुधवार को जनप्रतिनिधियों द्वारा भूमिपूजन किया गया। जिला कलेक्टर की अनुमति और नवापारा के ग्रामीणों की सहमति लेकर व्यवसायी वर्मा ने नवापारा व केसली गांवों के बीच से गुजरे जमुनईया नाला का स्वयं के खर्चे से 8 से 10 मीटर चौड़ा 200 मीटर लंबा और डेढ़ मीटर गहरा करेंगे।वर्मा ने कहा कि दो से तीन दशक पहले गर्मी के दिनों में सभी नालों में पानी भरा होता था जिसमें गांव के तालाबों तक नहीं पहुंच पाने वाले जंगली जानवर अपना प्यास बुझा पाते थे लेकिन स्टाप डेम बनने के बाद उसके ऊपर मिट्टी से पट जाने के कारण और नीचे पानी नहीं जा पाने के कारण सूख जाता है, इसलिए स्टाप डेम के ऊपर का गहरीकरण किया जाएगा जिससे गर्मी के दिनों में भी वहां पर पानी रुक सके और पशु पक्षी अपना प्यास बुझा सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि योजना कारगर रहा तो आने वाले साल में गहरीकरण का विस्तार किया जाएगा।
भूमि पूजन में उपस्थित सिमगा जनपद पंचायत के अध्यक्ष डॉ दौलत पाल, नवापारा सरपंच डोमार सिंह मारकंडे ने पहल की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि क्षेत्र में बहुत सारे उद्योग स्थापित हैं यदि उनके द्वारा भी शासन द्वारा बनाए गए स्टाप डेम के ऊपर का प्रति दो-तीन साल में गहरीकरण किया जाएगा तो गर्मी के दिनों में नालों में पानी रुकने की गुंजाइश रहेगी और जंगली जानवरों के साथ पालतू मवेशी भी अपना प्यास बुझा सकेंगे। भूमि पूजन के दौरान नवापारा के वरिष्ठ नागरिक विशेषर पाल, पूर्व सरपंच दिलीप वर्मा, दुकालू वैष्णव, हलदर शर्मा रामपाल जनक वर्मा कौशल धनगर, लोकनाथ वर्मा सहित ग्रामीण जैन उपस्थित रहे।
