नवागढ़ –जांँजगीर-चांँपा जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक पारुल माथुर द्वारा अवैध शराब , जुआ , सट्टा के विरुद्ध कार्यवाही करने के आदेश पर अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक महोदया श्रीमति मधुलिका सिंह के दिशा निर्देश पर एसडीओपी जाँजगीर जितेंद्र चंद्राकर के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में मुखबिर की सूचना के आधार पर रेड कार्यवाही कर नवागढ़ थाना अंतर्गत भांठापारा नवागढ़ निवासी आरोपी विक्रम साहू पिता कन्हैया लाल साहू ( 24वर्ष) के कब्जे से कुल 10 लीटर हाथभट्ठी निर्मित 1000 रूपये कीमती कच्ची महुआ शराब को जब्त कर आरोपियों के विरूद्ध अपराध क्रमाँक 171/20 धारा 34(2) आबकारी एक्ट के तहत कार्यवाही कर गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक रिमांड हेतु न्यायालय भेजा गया। जहाँ से उसे खोखरा उपजेल भेज दिया गया। इस कार्यवाही में नवागढ़ थाना प्रभारी निरीक्षक विवेक कुमार पांडेय के निर्देशन में सउनि माधव सिंह , प्रधान आरक्षक किशोर सिंह , आरक्षक भुवनेश्वर साहू , आरक्षक रामदेव साहू एवं दिलीप कश्यप का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा।
