आईएएस अमित कटारिया केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति पूरी होने के बाद पांच साल बाद फिर छत्‍तीसगढ़ लाैट आए हैं। उन्होंने मंत्रालय में ज्वाइनिंग दी है। उन्होंने मंगलवार को मुख्य सचिव अमिताभ जैन से मुलाकात की। आईएएस रजत कुमार गुरुवार को ज्वाइनिंग करेंगे।

छत्तीसगढ़ में IAS के तौर पर चर्चित रहने वाले अमित कटारिया फिर से एक बार केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति के बाद वापस छत्तीसगढ़ लौटे आए हैं । आने वाले दिनों में बड़ी जिम्मेदारी IAS अमित कटारिया को सरकार दे सकती है ।

अमित कटारिया का जीवन

अमित कटारिया का जन्म 15 अक्टूबर 1979 को हरियाणा के गुणगांव ( गुरुग्राम) में हुआ था। उनकी स्कूली शिक्षा दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल आरके पुरम से पूरी की है। फिर आईआईटी दिल्ली से इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स में बीटेक किया है। अमित कटारिया के पिता सरकारी स्कूल के सेवानिवृत शिक्षक और भाई बिजनेसमैन है।

हालांकि उनका पारिवारिक बिजनेस काफी बड़ा है। कटारिया के परिवार का दिल्ली, गुणगांव के आस पास रियल स्टेट का कारोबार है और साथ ही शॉपिंग मॉल और कॉम्प्लेक्स भी है। अमित कटारिया की पत्नी अस्मिता हांडा एक प्रोफेशनल पायलट हैं।

प्रोफेशनल कैरियर:–

अमित कटारिया की इमेज एक सख्त प्रशासक के तौर पर है । वे रायपुर नगर निगम आयुक्त के साथ रायपुर डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी के सीईओ रहें है। आरडीए सीईओ रहते हुए उन्होंने नया रायपुर के विकास के लिए काफी काम किया। वर्षों से रुकी कर्मचारियों की पदोन्नति करवाई। आरडीए की स्थिति बद और नया रायपुर के निर्माण में अमित कटारिया की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। रायपुर नगर निगम आयुक्त के तौर पर भी उन्होंने अवैध कब्जे हटवा कर अपना लोहा मनवाया था।

प्रोफेशनल कैरियर कैसा रहा?

अमित कटारिया कवर्धा रायगढ़ जगदलपुर जिलों के कलेक्टर रहे हैं। रायगढ़ कभी काफी विकास अमित कटारिया ने किया इस क्रम में बेजा कब्जा हटवाने के दौरान हुए सत्ताधारी भाजपा नेताओं से भी भिड़ गए थे और उन्हें भी नहीं बख्शा। जगदलपुर कलेक्टर रहते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के दौर में कलरफुल ड्रेस और गॉगल्स में मोदी की अगुवानी करते हुए उनसे हाथ मिलाकर चर्चा में आए थे तब राज्य सरकार ने नोटिस भी थमा दी थी। पर बाद में मामला खत्म भी कर दिया गया।

अमित कटारिया 2017 से केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति पर थे । पहले वे इससे पहले वे केंद्र में लैंड रिसोर्स डिपार्टमेंट में डेपुटेशन पर गए थे। लैंड रिसोर्स के बाद वह अर्बन एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन में डायरेक्टर बने। अर्बन एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन में रहने के दौरान वह केंद्र में जॉइंट सेक्रेटरी इम्पैनल हुए। जून 2022 में उनकी केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति दो साल के लिए बढ़ाते हुए ग्रामीण विकास विभाग में जॉइंट सेक्रेटरी बनाया गया। कैबिनेट की अपॉइंटमेंट्स कमेटी से अप्रूवल के बाद कटारिया की केंद्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति की अवधि बढ़ाई गई है।
