सेन श्रीवास समाज के अराध्य संत शिरोमणि सेन जी महाराज की 720 वी जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में सेन, श्रीवास समाज ने लॉक डाउन में अपने आराध्य की पूजा अर्चना घर मे ही सम्पन्न कराया। समाज के बालमुकुंद श्रीवास से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार संत शिरोमणि सेन जी महाराज एक ऐसे संत हुए जिन्होंने सेवा भावना को जन जन तक पहुचाने का कार्य किया, जिनका जन्म विक्रम संवत 1557 में वैशाख कृष्ण12 (द्वादशी), दिन रविवार को वृत योग तुला लग्न पूर्व भाद्रपक्ष को चन्दन्यायी के घर में हुआ था। बचपन में इनका नाम नंदा रखा गया। सेनजी महाराज का प्रभु भक्ति में बेहद विश्वास था, बचपन से ही सत्संग में इनकी आस्था थी, मध्यकाल के संतों में सेन महाराज का स्थान इसीलिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि इन्होंने भारतीय संस्कृति के अनुरूप जनमानस को शिक्षा और उपदेश के माध्यम से एकरूपता में पिरोया। यह भी कहा जाता है, की एक बार सेनजी महाराज द्वारा भक्ति में लीन होने के कारण भगवान स्वयं उनका कार्य करने आ पहुचे थे। ऐसे महान संत की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में प्रतिवर्ष होने वाली शोभायात्रा को कोरोना महामारी के कारण कर पाना संभव नही है, इस हेतु सेन श्रीवास समाज के सभी स्वजातीय बंधु अपने आराध्य संत श्री सेनजी महाराज की जयंती को घर पर ही सपरिवार पूजा अर्चना कर सम्पन्न किया।
इस अवसर पर समाज ने इस वर्ष घर मे ऑनलाइन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजित कर सभी स्वजातियो को जोड़ने का कार्य भी किया है जिसमे, चित्रकला, भुअलकरण, फैंसी ड्रेस, गीत, कविता, आलेख इत्यादि के माध्यम से संत शिरोमणि सेन जी महाराज की स्मृतियों को याद करने एक अनूठी पहल की है। प्रतियोगिता सभी वर्ग के स्वजातीय महिला एवं पुरुषों के लिए आयोजित की गई , जिसमे घर पर ही चित्र, रंगोली, गीत, कविता बनाकर ऑनलाइन भेजना है, चयनित प्रतिभागियों में प्रथम द्वितीय एवं तृतीय आने वालो को लॉक डाउन के पश्चात एक आयोजन कर पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा। इस ऑनलाइन आयोजन में सभी स्वजातीय बंधुओ का अच्छा प्रतिसाद मिल रहा है। खासकर बच्चो में खासा उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है। चूंकि श्रीवास समाज भी कोरोना महामारी हेतु सजग एवं सचेत है इसलिए प्रदेश स्तर पर होने वाले इस आयोजन को इस वर्ष घर मे ही हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाकर सकारात्मक संदेश देने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस ऑनलाइन आयोजन एवं सेन जयंती को घरों में सम्पन्न कराने श्रीवास समाज, व्यावसायिक सेलून संघ, युवा श्रीवास समाज, श्रीवास महिला इकाई सभी का सराहनीय योगदान रहा।
