वनडे क्रिकेट मैच में विराट कोहली की यह 48 सेंचुरी है, सचिन से एक सेंचुरी से Virat Kohli दूर हैं. इसके साथ ही विराट कम परियों में 26000 रन बनाने वाले खिलाड़ी बन गए हैं.पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी बांग्लादेश की टीम की ओर से लिटन दास (66) और तंजीद हसन (51) की सलामी जोड़ी ने शानदार शुरुआत दिलाई. दोनों बल्लेबाजों ने पहले विकेट के लिए 93 रन बनाए. लेकिन इसके बाद एक के बाद एक करके बांग्लादेश ने चार विकेट खो दिए. बांग्लादेश का स्कोर 137 रन था और उसके चार बल्लेबाज पवेलियन वापस लौट गए. इसके बाद बांग्लादेश के मिडिल आर्डर ने वापसी की कोशिश की. बांग्लादेश के लिए मुश्फिकुर रहीम ने 38 रन बनाए. वहीं महमूदुल्लाह ने 46 रनों की पारी खेली. जहां बांग्लादेश की टीम 256 रन 50 ओवर में 8 विकेट खोकर बनाई. भारत के लिए गेंदबाजी करते हुए रवींद्र जडेजा, मोहम्मद सिराज और जसप्रीत बुमराह ने 2-2 विकेट झटके, जबकि कुलदीप यादव और शार्दुल ठाकुर के खाते में एक-एक विकेट आया.बांग्लादेश से मिले 257 रनों के लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी टीम इंडिया को रोहित शर्मा और शुभमन गिल ने एक बार फिर बेहतरीन शुरुआत दिलाई. दोनों बल्लेबाजों ने पहले विकेट के लिए 88 रनों की साझेदारी की. टीम को पहला झटका रोहित शर्मा ने रुप में लगा. रोहित 48 रन बनाकर पवेलियन लौटे. इसके बाद क्रीज पर आए विराट कोहली ने शुभमन गिल के साथ मिलकर टीम इंडिया की पारी को संभाला. जहां भारत को दूसरा झटका गिल के रुप में लगा. शुभमन गिल 53 रन बनाकर वापस लौटे. गिल के जाने के बाद विराट और अय्यर ने मिलकर टीम के रनों की गति को आगे बढ़ाया. हालांकि, अय्यर 19 रन बनाकर आउट हुए. टीम इंडिया को 178 रनों के स्कोर पर तीसरा झटका लगा था. लेकिन इसके बाद केएल राहुल और विराट कोहली ने मिलकर टीम इंडिया को जीत दिलाई. भारत के लिए विराट कोहली ने 97 गेंदों पर नाबाद 103 रनों की पारी खेली. जबकि केएल राहुल 34 गेंदों में 34 रन बनाकर नाबाद रहे.
