राजस्व मंत्री टंक राम वर्मा ने छोड़ा ‘पायलट-फॉलो’ वाहनों का काफिला
प्रधानमंत्री के ऊर्जा और संसाधन बचत के आह्वान से प्रेरित होकर लिया फैसला : स्टाफ की गाड़ियों की संख्या में भी की भारी कटौती
रायपुर,18 मई 2026/छत्तीसगढ़ शासन के उच्च शिक्षा तथा राजस्व एवं आपदा प्रबंधन मंत्री टंक राम वर्मा ने प्रशासनिक तामझाम और वीआईपी कल्चर को दरकिनार करते हुए एक बेहद सराहनीय और अनुकरणीय पहल की है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के ऊर्जा बचत एवं संसाधनों के विवेकपूर्ण उपयोग के आह्वान से प्रेरित होकर, मंत्री वर्मा ने अपने शासकीय दौरों और आवागमन के दौरान मिलने वाले ‘पायलट’ और ‘फॉलो’ वाहनों के उपयोग को तत्काल प्रभाव से बंद करने का निर्णय लिया है। मंत्री वर्मा अपने पूरे स्टाफ के साथ बेहद सीमित और कम से कम गाड़ियों के काफिले में सफर करेंगे। राज्य स्तर पर उनके इस फैसले को सादगी और जनता के प्रति जवाबदेही के एक बड़े संदेश के रूप में देखा जा रहा है।
खुद से शुरुआत कर पेश की मिसाल
अपने इस बड़े फैसले पर बात करते हुए कैबिनेट मंत्री टंक राम वर्मा ने कहा कि देश इस समय चुनौतीपूर्ण दौर से गुजर रहा है। ऐसे में देशहित से जुड़ी किसी भी पहल की शुरुआत हम जनप्रतिनिधियों को स्वयं से करनी चाहिए और समाज के सामने एक उदाहरण पेश करना चाहिए। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि इस कदम से न केवल सरकारी और प्रशासनिक खर्चों में भारी कमी आएगी, बल्कि आम नागरिकों के बीच भी ईंधन संरक्षण (Fuel Conservation) और ऊर्जा बचत के प्रति एक सकारात्मक जागरूकता पैदा होगी।

मंत्री वर्मा के इस फैसले की विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों, प्रबुद्धजनों और आम नागरिकों ने स्वागत किया है। लोगों का कहना है कि राजनेताओं द्वारा फिजूलखर्ची रोकने और संसाधनों का जिम्मेदारी से उपयोग करने की यह पहल वाकई प्रेरणादायी है, जो जमीन से जुड़े नेता की पहचान को और मजबूत करती है।
