RBI, CYBER CRIME, CYBER FRAUD 2025, BANKING & FINANCE SECTOR सदन को बताया गया कि रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, साइबर फ्रॉड से वर्ष 2025 तक लगभग 20 हजार करोड़ रुपए का नुकसान होने का अनुमान है।

दिल्ली \राज्यसभा में सोमवार को सदस्यों ने सोशल मीडिया मंचों के बढ़ते दुरूपयोग, साइबर अपराधों और बैंक धोखधड़ी के कारण समाज में हो रही घटनाओं के बढ़ते मामलों पर चिंता जताई और इनके समाधान के लिए सरकार से कड़े और प्रभावी कदम उठाने की मांग की।

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के संजय सेठ शून्यकाल में साइबर अपराधों और बैंक धोखाधड़ी के बढ़ते मामलों पर चिंता जताई और इस तरह की धोखाधड़ी से निपटने के लिए फास्ट ट्रैक अदालत के गठन की मांग की। सेठ ने कहा कि बड़ी संख्या में लोग डिजिटल और ऑनलाइन भुगतान प्रणाली का इस्तेमाल करते हैं, लेकिन अपर्याप्त सुरक्षा उपायों के कारण उनमें से कई लोग सेकेंड के भीतर साइबर धोखाधड़ी का शिकार हो जाते हैं और अपनी गाढ़ी कमाई खो देते हैं।

उन्होंने एक घटना का हवाला दिया जहां एक व्यक्ति ने अपनी बेटी की शादी के लिए जमा किए गए धन को साइबर धोखाधड़ी के कारण गंवा देने के बाद आत्महत्या कर ली। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को भी साइबर धोखाधड़ी के कारण अपनी पेंशन गंवानी पड़ती है।

सेठ ने जोर देकर कहा कि देश में डिजिटल इंडिया को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है लेकिन साथ ही नागरिकों की वित्तीय सुरक्षा को भी समान रूप से प्राथमिकता दी जानी चाहिए।

सदन को बताया गया कि रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, साइबर फ्रॉड से वर्ष 2025 तक लगभग 20 हजार करोड़ रुपए का नुकसान होने का अनुमान है। इस विषय पर जानकारी देते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश से राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सेठ ने कहा कि नाम के दुरुपयोग से ही 9,000 करोड़ रुपए का नुकसान होने का अनुमान है। सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित होने वाले सेक्टर बैंकिंग और फाइनेंस है।
