छत्तीसगढ़ निकाय चुनाव की घोषणा; महापौर चुनाव 11 को और त्रिस्तरीय-पंचायत चुनाव 17, 20 व 23 फरवरी को

छत्तीसगढ़ में आज से आचार संहिता लागू हो गई है। छत्तीसगढ़ में निकाय चुनाव 11 फरवरी को होंगे। वहीं 15 फरवरी को नगर निगम, नगर पालिका और नगर पंचायत के नतीजे आ जाएंगे। इस बार नगरीय निकाय के चुनाव EVM से ही होंगे।
निर्वाचन आयोग ने पंचायत चुनाव की भी घोषणा कर दी है। 3 चरण में 17, 20 और 23 फरवरी को पंचायत चुनाव के लिए मतदान होगा। इसके नतीजे 18, 21 और 24 फरवरी को आएंगे। त्रि-स्तरीय पंचायत चुनाव बैलेट पेपर से होंगे।
राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग के आयुक्त अजय सिंह चुनावी तारीखों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि, आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन ना हो इसके लिए जिलों में अलग से टीम बनाने का निर्देश जारी किया गया है। आज 20 जनवरी को चुनाव घोषणा के बाद से 24 फरवरी तक आचार संहिता लागू रहेगी।
छत्तीसगढ़ में 21 साल में 17 लाख शहरी वोटर्स बढ़ गए हैं। 2004 में हुए पहले नगरीय निकाय चुनाव के दौरान मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या 28 लाख 34 हजार 547 थी। जो बढ़कर 44 लाख 87 हजार 668 हो गई है। त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत और नगरीय निकाय चुनाव के लिए मतदाता सूची के अंतिम प्रकाशन में आंकड़े सामने आए हैं।
