छत्तीसगढ़ में पुलिस-नक्सली मुठभेड़ में DRG जवान शहीद: कुछ जवानों के घायल होने की खबर; नक्सल एंबुश में फंसी DRG-BSF की टीम
नारायणपुर/ छत्तीसगढ़ के नारायणपुर जिले के अबूझमाड़ में पुलिस और नक्सलियों के बीच मुठभेड़ में एक DRG जवान शहीद हो गया है। वहीं कुछ जवानों के घायल होने की भी खबर है। बताया जा रहा है कि BSF और DRG की टीम जंगल में नक्सलियों के एंबुश में फंसी हुई है। मामला सोनपुर और कोहकामेटा बॉर्डर का है।
पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार जंगल में बुधवार दोपहर 1 बजे से दोनों ओर से रुक-रुककर फायरिंग हुई। मुठभेड़ के दौरान नारायणपुर में हेड कॉन्स्टेबल के पद पर पदस्थ बीरेंद्र कुमार सोरी (36) को गोली लगी, जिससे उनकी मौके पर ही शहादत हो गई। IG सुंदरराज पी ने पुष्टि की है।
