जगन्नाथपुरी — माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा जगन्नाथपुरी में भगवान श्रीजगन्नाथ महाप्रभु की रथयात्रा निकालने की अनुमति मिलने पर उड़ीसा राज्य सरकार के कानून मंत्री, श्रीमंदिर प्रशासक, गजपति महाराज एवं सेवायत गण सभी मिलकर पूर्वाम्नाय गोवर्धनमठ पुरीपीठाधीश्वर श्रीमज्जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य स्वामी निश्चलानंद सरस्वती जी से आशीर्वाद लेने व रथयात्रा के संबंध में मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त करने श्रीगोवर्धन मठ पहुँचे।रथयात्रा की अनुमति मिलने पर देश भर के पुरी शंकराचार्य के अनुयायियों में हर्ष व्याप्त है , साथ ही श्रीजगन्नाथजी के सभी श्रद्धालु भक्तजनों के द्वारा सोशल मीडिया के द्वारा उपरोक्त फैसले पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की जा रही है। आज पुरी शंकराचार्य जी रथयात्रा महोत्सव का प्रारंभ करने श्रीजगन्नाथ मंदिर परिसर में विराजमान रथारूढ़ भगवान के दर्शन के लिए पहुँच चुके हैं। गौरतलब है कि रथयात्रा महोत्सव पुरी की यह पुरातन परंपरा है कि रथयात्रा की शुरुआत पुरी शंकराचार्य जी एवं गजपति महाराज की उपस्थिति में होता है , रथारूढ़ भगवान के दर्शन पश्चात रथयात्रा के रास्ते में पुरी शंकराचार्य जी द्वारा पवित्र जल छिड़का जाता है फिर गजपति महाराज सुवर्ण झाड़ू से रास्ता बुहारते है तब भगवान का रथ आगे बढ़ता है।
