लखनऊ — गो हत्या एवं गोकशी को रोकने के लिये आथ योगी सरकार ने बड़ा कदम उठाते हुये “गोवध निवारण संशोधन अध्यादेश” के प्रारूप को मंजूरी दे दी है। अब गौहत्या एवं गोकशी करने वालों को कड़ी से कड़ी सजा मिलेगी। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की अध्यक्षता में उनके सरकारी आवास में हुई कैबिनेट बैठक में यह फैसला लिया गया।
उत्तरप्रदेश में गोवध करने वालों को अब दस साल की जेल और 05 लाख जुर्माना होगी। इस अधिनियम के तहत दोबारा दोषी पाये जाने पर दोगुनी सजा होगी वही अंग भंग करने पर 07 साल की जेल और 03 लाख तक जुर्माना भी लगेगा। गोवध व गोकशी करने वालों की तस्वीरें उनके क्षेत्र में लगायी जायेगी। उन्हें आटोमेटिक बेल भी नही मिलेगा। अध्यादेश राज्यपाल की मंजूरी के बाद लागू हो सकेगा। अध्यादेश के जरिये यूपी गोवध निवारण अधिनियम में बदलाव कर इसे और सख्त बनाया जा रहा है।
