प्रदेश के नगरिको को सुकून देती खबर : अब पुलिस आम नागरिकों से दुर्व्यवहार की तो होगी निलंबन और एफआईआर भी

रायपुर । छत्तीसगढ़ के डीजीपी डीएम अवस्थी ने सभी आईजी और एसपी को सख्त निर्देश जारी कर कहा है कि प्रदेश में पुलिस अधिकारी, कर्मचारी किसी भी आम जन से दुर्व्यवहार किया तो उसे तुरंत निलंबित कर अपराधिक प्रकरण दर्ज कर कार्यवाही की जायेगी। उन्होंने जारी पत्र में लिखा है कि पूर्व में भी कई बार यह निर्देश जारी किये गये हैं कि आम नागरिकों से पुलिस का व्यवहार सम्मानपूर्वक एवं सहानुभूतिपूर्ण होना चाहिये। हाल ही में कुछ घटनायेन प्रकाश में आयी है जिनमें पुलिस अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों के द्वारा आम जनता से दुर्व्यवहार एवं जबरन मारपीट की गयी है।
उन्होंने कहा है कि इस तरह के मामलों की वजह से विभाग में लंबे समय से मेहनत कर रहे ईमानदार और अनुशासित पुलिसकर्मियों की सारी मेहनत पर पानी फिर जाता है, और पुलिस की नकारात्मक छवि जनमानस के सामने आती है।
