अम्बिकापुर — मदनवाड़ा नक्सली मुठभेड़ में शहीद हुये थाना प्रभारी श्री श्याम किशोर शर्मा का आज यहाँ उनके पैतृक गांँव अम्बिकापुर जनपद के ग्राम खाला में बांस तालाब के पास अंतिम संस्कार किया गया। शहीद जवान श्री श्याम किशोर शर्मा के पिता श्री बृजमोहन शर्मा ने उनको मुखाग्नि दी। इस दौरान पुलिस जवानों ने गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर देकर शहीद एसआई को अंतिम सलामी दी। छत्तीसगढ़ राज्यपाल सुश्री अनुसुईया उईके तथा मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल ने शहीद एसआई श्री श्माय किशोर शर्मा के शहादत को नमन करते हुये उनके परिवार के प्रति गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त किया है।
खाद्य मंत्री श्री अमरजीत भगत, लुण्ड्रा विधायक डाॅ. प्रीतम राम, सरगुजा संभाग कमिश्नर श्री ईमिल लाकड़ा, सरगुजा रेंज के महानिरीक्षक श्री रतनलाल ड़ांगी, कलेक्टर डॉ सारांश मित्तर, पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री आशुतोष सिंह, जिला पंचायत सीईओ श्री कुलदीप शर्मा, जिला पंचायत उपाध्यक्ष श्री राकेश गुप्ता ने ग्राम खाला पहुंचकर शहीद एसआई श्री श्याम किशोर शर्मा के पार्थिव देह पर पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजली दी और शोक संतप्त परिजनों से मिलकर ढांढस बंँधाया। आज एयर फोर्स के हैलीकॉप्टर द्वारा शहीद एसआई का पार्थिव शरीर दरिमा एयरपोर्ट पंहुंँचा। यहां से उनका पार्थिव शरीर ग्राम खाला लाया गया। तिरंगे में लिपटा शहीद एसआई श्री श्याम किशोर के पार्थिव देह को अंतिम दर्शन के लिये उनके ग्राम खाला स्थित निवास में रखा गया। जांबाज शहीद श्री श्याम किशोर शर्मा के अंतिम दर्शन पश्चात क्षेत्रवासियों ने नम आंखों से उन्हें अंतिम विदाई दी। ग्राम खाला के बांस तालाब स्थित शमशान घाट के पास पुलिस की गॉर्ड ऑफ ऑनर के साथ शहीद श्री श्याम किशोर शर्मा का अंतिम संस्कार किया गया।
गौरतलब है कि राजनांदगांव जिले के मदनवाड़ा थाने में पदस्थ थाना प्रभारी एसआई श्री श्याम किशोर शर्मा आज रात्रि में मदनवाड़ा थाने के परधौनी में नक्सली मुठभेड़ में चार नक्सलियों को ढेर करने के बाद शहीद हो गये थे।
