बिलासपुर। विधायक शैलेष पांडेय ने आज अपने एपीएल राशन कार्ड से चावल खरीदा और बोरी उठाकर दुकान से इस तरह बाहर निकले। उन्होंने कहा कि इस चावल से वे जरूरतमंदों की मदद करेंगे।
ज्ञात हो कि विधायक पांडेय लगातार शहर के अलग-अलग इलाकों में गरीब परिवारों को राशन पहुंचा कर दे रहे हैं जिनका काम इस समय लॉकडाउन के कारण ठप पड़ा है और भोजन की समस्या से जूझ रहे हैं।
पांडेय ने बीपीएल परिवार के सभी लोगों से अपील की है कि वे अपने राशन कार्ड से दो माह का निःशुल्क चावल उचित मूल्य की दुकानों से प्राप्त कर लें। राज्य सरकार ने कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते आए संकट को देखते हुए बीपीएल परिवारों को दो माह का चावल और नमक मुफ्त देने की घोषणा की है।
