रायपुर — राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविन्द आज अपने दो दिवसीय प्रवास की शुरूआत पर स्वामी विवेकानंद विमानतल रायपुर पहुँचे। विमानतल पर राज्यपाल अनुसूईया उइके, मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने उनका आत्मीय स्वागत किया। इस अवसर पर महापौर एजाज ढेबर,मुख्य सचिव आर.पी. मंडल, पुलिस महानिदेशक डी.एम अवस्थी, कमिश्नर जी.आर. चुरेन्द्र, पुलिस महानिरीक्षक डॉ आनंद छाबड़ा, कलेक्टर डॉ. एस. भारतीदासन, वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक मोहम्मद एच आरिफ शेख सहित अन्य मौजूद रहे। स्वागत के पश्चात महामहिम राष्ट्रपति हेलीकाप्टर से बिलासपुर के लिये रवाना हुये।
राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद भारतीय वायु सेना की तीन हेलीकाप्टर के काफिले के साथ आज दो दिवसीय प्रवास पर जिला मुख्यालय बिलासपुर के पंडित सुन्दर लाल शर्मा मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय स्थित हेलीपेड पहुंचे। राष्ट्रपति श्री कोविंद के साथ छत्तीसगढ़ के राज्यपाल अनुसुईया उईके भी पहुंची। राज्य शासन की ओर से प्रदेश के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री उमेश पटेल ने हेलीपेड में राष्ट्रपति श्री कोविंद की अगुवानी की, और उनका हार्दिक स्वागत किया। इस मौके पर राज्यपाल के सचि सोनमणी बोरा भी मौजूद थे।
इस अवसर पर महापौर रामशरण यादव, कमिश्नर बी.एल.बंजारे, पुलिस महानिरीक्षक दीपांशु काबरा, कलेक्टर डाॅ.संजय अलंग, पुलिस अधीक्षक प्रशांत अग्रवाल, जिला पंचायत के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी रितेश अग्रवाल ने भी स्वागत किया। तत्पश्चात राष्ट्रपति कोविंद छत्तीसगढ़ भवन के लिये रवाना हुए। शहर के छत्तीसगढ़ भवन में आज उनका दोपहर का भोजन और विश्राम सुनिश्चित है। राष्ट्रपति शाम 7 बजे शहर के कुछ वकीलों से सौजन्य मुलाकात करेंगे। राष्ट्रपति का रात्रि विश्राम भी छत्तीसगढ़ भवन में ही तय है।
सोमवार को गुरुघासीदास केंद्रीय विवि के दीक्षांत समारोह के दौरान सुबह 10 बजे भारत की पहली महिला सविता कोविंद, मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल, राज्यपाल अनुसूईया उईके भी बतौर मुख्य अतिथि मौजूद रहेंगी।
राष्ट्रपति श्री कोविंद 2 मार्च को पूर्वान्ह 10 बजे गुरू घासीदास केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय कोनी में आयोजित दीक्षांत समारोह में शामिल होंगे। कार्यक्रम पश्चात वे स्वामी विवेकानंद विमानतल रायपुर के लिये रवाना होंगे।
