रायपुर । छत्तीसगढ़ रायपुर लोकसभा के अपराजेय योध्या रमेश बैंस का जन्मदिन आज छत्तीसगढ़ ,झारखंड सहित देश हर्षोल्लास से मना रहे हैं । छत्तीसगढ़ के रायपुर का प्रतिनिधित्व करते रहे हैं ।रमेश बैस छत्तीसगढ़ के रायपुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं और अपने राजनीतिक जीवन के प्रारंभ से ही भारतीय जनता पार्टी से जुड़े रहे। सामाजिक जीवन की शुरुआत और राजनीति में आने में आने के बाद सबसे पहले रमेश बैस 1978 में रायपुर नगर निगम के लिए चुने गए थे।

2अगस्त 1947 को जन्मे रमेश बैस वाजपेयी सरकार में केंद्रीय राज्यमंत्री के रूप में भी काम कर चुके है। जबकि जुलाई 2019 में उन्हें त्रिपुरा का राज्यपाल बनाया गया था। इस तरह से निगम से लेकर केंद्र सरकार में कई दायित्वों को संभाल चुके रमेश बैस को संसदीय कार्यां का लंबा अनुभव है। रमेश बैस मध्यप्रदेश में विधायक भी रहे हैं । इसके बाद उनका राजनीतिक सफर लगातार आगे बढ़ता रहा। 1980 से 1984 तक वे मध्यप्रदेश विधान सभा के सदस्य भी थे। 1989 में एकीकृत मध्य प्रदेश (अब छत्तीसगढ़) के रायपुर संसदीय सीट से से 9 वीं लोक सभा के लिए चुने गए थे ।


बैस ने कद्दावर नेता विद्याचरण शुक्ल तक को हराया

इसके बाद 11वीं, 12वीं, 13वीं, 14वीं, 15वीं और 16वीं लोक सभा में फिर से निर्वाचित हुए थे। उन्होंने भारत सरकार में केंद्रीय मंत्री के रूप में भी कार्य किया। रमेश बैस ने कांग्रेस के कद्दावर नेता विद्याचरण शुक्ल और श्यामाचरण शुक्ल जैसे नेताओं को हराया है।

रमेश बैस कभी चुनाव नहीं हारे,,,

रमेश बैस कभी चुनाव नहीं हारे। लगातार चुनाव जीतने के बाद भी 2019 में उन्हें टिकट नहीं दिया गया। लेकिन चुनाव के बाद उन्हें त्रिपुरा का राज्यपाल बनाया गया। रमेश बैस, लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी के काफी करीबी माने जाते हैं। वे केंद्रीय मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज के भी काफी करीबी थे। सुषमा स्वराज से उनके पारिवार संबंध रहे. सुषमा स्वराज रमेश बैस को अपना भाई मानती थीं। वर्तमान में झारखंड के राज्यपाल का दायित्व निर्वहन कर रहे हैं ।
