बिलासपुर। डॉक्टर द्वारका प्रसाद अग्रवाल का निधन बिलासपुर राजनीतिक सामाजिक धार्मिक सांस्कृतिक एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र के साथ ही साथ सेवा के क्षेत्रों में डॉक्टर द्वारिका प्रसाद अग्रवाल लगातार सक्रिय भूमिका बनाए रखें यहां हम विकलांगों की सेवा के संदर्भ में चर्चा करेंगे अखिल भारतीय विकलांग चेतना परिषद का गठन वर्ष 2000 में प्रथम बैठक प्रदीप मेडिकल एजेंसीज में डॉक्टर डीपी अग्रवाल की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुई और संस्था का गठन हुआ और इस संस्था ने विकलांगों की सेवा में पूरे देश में 60 शिविर के माध्यम से लगातार करेक्टिव सर्जरी करते हुए लगभग 2000 विकलांगों का ऑपरेशन किया गया
वहीं विवाह योग्य विकलांग युवक युवती परिचय सम्मेलन एवं उनका सामूहिक विवाह कर 1501 जोड़ों को इस संस्था के माध्यम से घर बसाने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ वर्तमान में MOPKA में विशाल विकलांग हॉस्पिटल बनकर तैयार है और 2 माह के अंदर विकलांगों का ऑपरेशन प्रारंभ हो जावेगा इस संस्था को प्रदेश का सर्वोच्च सम्मान प्राप्त है इस संस्था ने साहित्य के माध्यम से विकलांगता को पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल करने के लिए पूरी तैयारी की शासन से मांग की है और राष्ट्रीय साहित्य संगोष्ठी विकलांग विमर्श के माध्यम से विकलांगों की बात आवश्यकता एवं व्यवस्था को समाज एवं शासन तक आगे बढ़ाया राजेंद्र राजू अग्रवाल राष्ट्रीय कोषाध्यक्ष अखिल भारतीय विकलांग चेतना परिषद।
