बैंक आधार का इस्तेमाल ग्राहक को जानने (केवाईसी) के लिए करते हैं। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं कि बैंक अपनी मर्जी से आधार का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। इसके लिए बैंक को आपकी इजाजत लेनी होगी। अगर आप इजाजत नहीं देंगे तो बैंक आधार का इस्तेमाल नहीं कर पाएंगे।
हाल ही में रिजर्व बैंक ने आधार के इस्तेमाल को लेकर जारी निर्देश में कहा है कि बैंक को ऐसे व्यक्तियों का आधार सत्यापन ऑफलाइन सत्यापन के लिए कर सकते हैं जो स्वेच्छा से अपने आधार का उपयोग पहचान को प्रमाणित करने के लिए करना चाहते हैं।
रिजर्व बैंक ने कहा कि प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण (डीबीटी) का लाभ लेने वाले व्यक्ति के लिए आधार के जरिए केवाईसी करना होगा। यानी सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ लेने के लिए आधार देना होगा। इसके अलावा किसी दूसरे काम के लिए आधार से केवाईसी जरूरी नहीं होगा। वे किसी दूसरे दस्तावेज का भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं।
बैंक खाता खोलने के लिए जरूरी नहीं
आमतौर पर बैंक खाता खोलने के लिए आधार का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। लेकिन इसके लिए बैंक को आपसे अनुमति लेनी होगी। अगर आप इजाजत देंगे तो ही बैंक ऑनलाइन के जरिए केवाईसी सत्यापित करेंगे। इसके अलावा दूसरी वित्तीय कंपनियां भी आपके सहमति से आपके आधार का इस्तेमाल कर सकती है। हालांकि, बैंकों के अलावा जिन कंपनियों को आधार का उपयोग करने की अनुमति है, वे ई-केवाईसी के लिए इसका उपयोग केवल ऑफलाइन मोड में कर सकते हैं।
क्या होता है केवाईसी
केवाईसी को आसान भाषा में समझें तो यह ग्राहक के बारे में पूरी जानकारी की प्रक्रिया होती है। केवाईसी कराना सभी के लिए जरूरी है। केवाईसी के जरिए यह सुनिश्चित किया जाता है कि कोई र्बैंंकग सेवाओं का दुरुपयोग तो नहीं कर रहा है।
पिछले साल से रोक थी
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 2018 में आधार के अनिवार्यता को लेकर अपना फैसला दिया था। कोर्ट ने कहा था कि बैंक खाता और मोबाइल नंबर को आधार से जोड़ने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है। इसके बाद से बैंक और वित्तीय कंपनियों ने आधार के इस्तेमाल को अनिवार्य नहीं किया था।
इस तरह अपने डाटा को सुरक्षित करें
आधार कार्ड के बायोमैट्रिक आंकड़ों को लॉक करना बहुत आसान है और इसे मिनटों में किया जा सकता है। यह काम आप आधार की वेबसाइट से या अपने पंजीकृत मोबाइल से कर सकते हैं। आधार नंबर लॉक हो जाने पर कोई भी बायोमैट्रिक को सत्यापन के लिए इस्तेमाल नहीं कर पाएंगे। बैंक भी बायो मैट्रिक डेटा का यूज नहीं कर पाएंगे।
