दंतेवाड़ा उप चुनाव मतदान सम्पन्न, 27 को परिणाम, हुआ 54 प्रतिशत मतदान

दंतेवाड़ा– दंतेवाड़ा सीट पर हो रही उपचुनाव में वोटिंग की समय सीमा दोपहर 3 बजे समाप्त हुई, लेकिन कई पोलिंग बूथ पर तय समय तक मतदाताओं की कतारें लगी रही, जिन्हें वोटिंग की अनुमति मिली है। सुबह 7 बजे से शुरू हुए मतदान की समय सीमा दोपहर 3 बजे तक 53.25 प्रतिशत वोटिंग हुई, अभी फाइनल रिपोर्ट नहीं आई है, वोटिंग प्रतिशत और बढ़ने की पूरी उम्मीद है। मतगणना 27 सितंबर को होगी। बीजेपी ने इस सीट से भीमा मंडावी की पत्नी ओजस्वी मंडावी और कांग्रेस ने देवती कर्मा को प्रत्याशी बनाया। दोनों ही प्रत्याशियों और उनकी पार्टी ने अपनी जीत के दावे किए।दंतेवाड़ा उपचुनाव में नक्सली दहशत के बावजूद अंदरूनी इलाकों से भी मतदाता पोलिंग बूथ तक पहुंचे। नक्सलियों ने अपनी दहशत कामय रखने के लिए जिस श्यामगिरी में विधायक भीमा मंडावी की हत्या की थी, वहां जनता ने लोकतंत्र पर भरोसा जताया है, और बड़ी संख्या मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने पहुंचे। इसके अलावा कटेकल्याण में नक्सलियों ने आईईडी प्लांट कर मतदान को प्रभावित करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन फोर्स ने उसे नाकाम कर दिया।
बीजेपी विधायक की हत्या से खाली हुई थी सीट
लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 में प्रथम चरण की वोटिंग से पहले 9 अप्रैल को नक्सलियों ने दंतेवाड़ा से बीजेपी विधायक भीमा मंडावी की हत्या कर दी थी। नक्सलियों ने नकुलनार मार्ग पर श्यामगिरी में आईईडी ब्लास्ट कर विधायक मंडावी के वाहन को उड़ा दिया था। इसमें विधायक मंडावी व 4 अन्य पुलिस कर्मियों की मौत हो गई थी। इसके बाद से ही दंतेवाड़ा विधानसभा सीट खाली थी।
