सुराजी गांवों में ग्रामीणों के सामाजिक, आर्थिक विकास के मद्देनजर प्रारंभ की गई नरवा-गरवा,घुरवा और बाड़ी योजना के क्रियान्वयन से ग्रामीणों को आय का अतिरिक्त ज़रिया मिल रहा है.. योजना के तहत गोठानों में आर्थिक गतिविधियां संचालित की जा रही है..
इस क्रम में जिले के विकास खंड मरवाही के ग्राम गुल्लीडांड में कृषि विभाग के सहयोग से ग्राम गोठान समिति द्वारा गोबर से जैविक खाद का निर्माण शुरू किया गया है.. गत जुलाई माह से इस गोठान में सैकड़ों की संख्या में पशुओं का आना हो रहा है और उनका व्यवस्थित रखरखाव किया जा रहा है..कृषि विभाग द्वारा इस गोठान में 5 वर्मी बेड और दो जैविक नाडेप टांके बनाए गए हैं..
अगस्त माह में इस गोठान में दो हज़ार किलो वर्मी खाद का निर्माण किया गया..
गोठान अभी करीब दो से ढाई सौ पशु आ रहे हैं। चारे, पानी , छायादार शेड और इलाज की समुचित व्यवस्था होने के कारण गोठान में पशुओं की संख्या में निरंतर इज़ाफ़ा हो रहा है.. जिले के गोठान प्रभारी और उपसंचालक पशु चिकित्सा सेवाएं, डां सोनी ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा गोबर से तैयार जैविक खाद की प्रति किलो दर 6.50 रूपए निर्धारित की गई है.. इस दर पर जैविक खाद क्रय करने कृषि और उद्यान विभाग को अधिकृत किया गया है.. तय कीमत के आधार पर गुल्लीडांड गोठान समिति को करीब 13 हज़ार रुपए की आमदनी होगी।
