स्काउट गाइड ने “राष्ट्रपिता” महात्मा गांधी की पुण्यतिथि पर की श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित
बिलासपुर, 30 जनवरी 2026/भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स, छत्तीसगढ़ के राज्यमुख्य आयुक्त इंद्रजीत सिंह खालसा एवं राज्य सचिव जितेन्द्र कुमार साहू के निर्देशानुसार तथा जिला मुख्य आयुक्त चंद्रप्रकाश बाजपेयी, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी विजय टांडे एवं सहायक राज्य आयुक्त (स्काउट) विजय कुमार यादव के मार्गदर्शन में जिले में राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी जी की पुण्यतिथि पर श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर गांधी चौक, बिलासपुर स्थित महात्मा गांधी जी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर उनके बलिदान को स्मरण किया गया। तत्पश्चात सेजेस महारानी लक्ष्मी बाई विद्यालय में गांधी जी की स्मृति में “सर्वधर्म प्रार्थना सभा” का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें जिले के 200 से अधिक स्काउट्स, गाइड्स, रोवर्स, रेंजर्स, स्काउटर एवं गाइडर उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए जिला मुख्य आयुक्त चंद्रप्रकाश बाजपेयी ने कहा कि महात्मा गांधी भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के सबसे प्रभावशाली नेताओं में से एक थे। उनका पूरा नाम मोहनदास करमचंद गांधी था। सत्य एवं अहिंसा के सिद्धांतों पर आधारित उनके आंदोलन ने भारत को स्वतंत्रता दिलाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। उन्हें ससम्मान “राष्ट्रपिता”, “बापू” एवं “महात्मा” कहा जाता है।
