खेलो इंडिया ट्राइबल गेम्स : चयन ट्रायल में शामिल हुए एक हजार से अधिक खिलाड़ी
छत्तीसगढ़ की टीम में चयन के लिए फुटबॉल, हॉकी, कुश्ती व वेट-लिफ्टिंग के ट्रायल रायपुर में तथा तैराकी, एथलेटिक्स और तीरंदाजी के बिलासपुर में संपन्न
बिलासपुर. 8 जनवरी 2026. खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग द्वारा अगले महीने आयोजित किए जाने वाले खेलो इंडिया नेशनल ट्राइबल गेम्स के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ की टीम के चयन के लिए तीन दिनों तक चले ट्रायल में प्रदेशभर के एक हजार से अधिक जनजातीय खिलाड़ियों ने हिस्सा लिया। नेशनल ट्राइबल गेम्स में शामिल सात खेलों के लिए खिलाड़ियों के चयन के लिए 6 जनवरी से 8 जनवरी तक रायपुर और बिलासपुर में ट्रायल हुए।
रायपुर के स्वामी विवेकानंद स्टेडियम कोटा में कुश्ती, फुटबॉल और वेट-लिफ्टिंग के लिए राज्य स्तरीय चयन ट्रायल का आयोजन किया गया था। वहीं सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल अंतरराष्ट्रीय हॉकी स्टेडियम में हॉकी के ट्रायल हुए। बिलासपुर के राज्य खेल प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र बहतराई में तीरंदाजी और एथलेटिक्स तथा सरकंडा स्थित जिला खेल परिसर में तैराकी खिलाड़ियों के चयन के लिए ट्रायल हुए। राज्य के अनुसूचित जनजाति वर्ग के खिलाड़ियों ने दोनों शहरों में आयोजित चयन ट्रायल में बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया।
रायपुर में संपन्न चार खेलों के चयन ट्रायल में कुल 558 खिलाड़ियों ने भागीदारी की। इनमें 355 पुरुष और 203 महिला खिलाड़ी शामिल हैं। बालोद जिले के 55, बस्तर के 31, बीजापुर के 9, गरियाबंद के 6, जांजगीर-चांपा के 3, जशपुर के 92, कबीरधाम के 36, कांकेर के 51, कोंडागांव के 23, कोरबा 9, महासमुंद के 14, रायगढ़ के 21, राजनांदगांव के 16, सरगुजा के 23, सुकमा के 31, धमतरी के 13, दुर्ग के 11, बेमेतरा के 4, बिलासपुर के 8, दंतेवाड़ा के 19, मोहला-मानपुर-अंबागढ़ चौकी के 6, रायपुर के 12, बलौदाबाजार-भाटापारा के 4, बलरामपुर-रामानुजगंज के 12, गौरेला-पेंड्रा-मरवाही के 4, कोरिया के 4, नारायणपुर के 27, सक्ती के 4 तथा सूरजपुर के 10 खिलाड़ियों ने चयन ट्रायल में भाग लिया।
रायपुर में हॉकी में 148, कुश्ती में 37, वेट-लिफ्टिंग में 40 तथा फुटबॉल में 333 खिलाड़ी ट्रायल में शामिल हुए। वहीं बिलासपुर में तीन खेलों में 470 खिलाड़ियों ने राज्य की टीम में चयन के लिए दावेदारी की। चयन ट्रायल के दौरान विभिन्न खेल संघों के पदाधिकारियों, अनुसूचित जनजाति विकास विभाग तथा खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग के अधिकारियों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी दी।
