शहर के सबसे बड़े और पुराने सब स्टेशन में आज अचानक भीषण आग लग गई। जिससे कई इलाकों में अचानक ब्लैकआउट हो गया।
आधे शहर में ब्लैकआउट
25 साल पुराना मोपका सब स्टेशन कुल 480 मेगावॉट क्षमता का है। जिसमें से करीब 320 मेगावॉट बिजली शहर के आधे हिस्से को सप्लाई की जाती है। आग के कारण शहर की बिजली सप्लाई बंद कर दी गई है। अचानक ब्लैकआउट होने से लोगों में खलबली मच गई। बिजली गुल होते ही घरों, दुकानों और व्यवसायिक इलाकों में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल है।
