बिलासपुर . उप मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरुण साव आज मुंगेली जिले के बरेला और जरहागांव नगर पंचायत में नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्षों और पार्षदों के शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में शामिल हुए। विधायक श्री पुन्नूलाल मोहले भी शपथ ग्रहण कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए। मुंगेली की एसडीएम श्रीमती पार्वती पटेल ने बरेला और जरहागांव में आयोजित दो अलग-अलग समारोहों में बरेला नगर पंचायत के नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष श्री नरेश पटेल और जरहागांव नगर पंचायत की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती रूपाली वेदप्रकाश कश्यप तथा दोनों नगर पंचायतों के पार्षदों को विधिपूर्वक शपथ दिलाई।
उप मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरुण साव ने शपथ ग्रहण समारोह को मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित करते हुए सभी नवनिर्वाचित जनप्रतिनिधियों को बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दीं। उन्होंने अपने कार्यों से नगरवासियों की अपेक्षाओं पर खरा उतरने की अपील की। उन्होंने नवगठित नगर पंचायतों की जिम्मेदारियों को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा कि जनता ने जिन उम्मीदों के साथ जनादेश दिया है, उन पर पूरी निष्ठा से काम करना सभी निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों का कर्तव्य है।
उप मुख्यमंत्री श्री साव ने कार्यक्रम में कहा कि विष्णु देव साय सरकार के नेतृत्व में नगर पंचायत बरेला एवं जरहागांव के चहुंमुखी विकास के लिए हरसंभव सहयोग दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने दोनों नगर पंचायतों को स्वच्छ और सुंदर बनाने पर विशेष जोर देते हुए कहा कि सभी को मिलकर कार्य करना होगा। उन्होंने बिलासपुर के मोहभट्ठा में 30 मार्च को होने वाले प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के कार्यक्रम में अधिक से अधिक संख्या में नागरिकों को शामिल होने का आग्रह किया।
मुंगेली के विधायक श्री पुन्नूलाल मोहले ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि नगर की जनता ने निष्पक्ष रूप से अपने मतदान का प्रयोग कर आप लोगों को जिताया है। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि नगर पंचायत बरेला और जरहागांव के सभी नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष एवं पार्षद नागरिकों की अपेक्षाओं एवं आकांक्षाओं पर खरा उतरेंगे और नगर के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देंगे। मुंगेली जिला पंचायत के सीईओ श्री प्रभाकर पाण्डेय, जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष श्रीकांत पाण्डेय, उपाध्यक्ष श्रीमती शांति देवचरण भास्कर और मुंगेली जनपद पंचायत के अध्यक्ष श्री रामकमल सिंह सहित अनेक गणमान्य नागरिक बड़ी संख्या में समारोह में मौजूद थे।
