बिलासपुर पहुंचने पर संजू देवी का भव्य स्वागत : प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों, खेल संघों और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने दी शुभकामनाएं
बिलासपुर/मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय के सुशासन में खेल प्रतिभाओं को उचित अवसर और सुविधाएं मिल रही हैं। इसी क्रम में बिलासपुर के बहतराई खेल स्टेडियम में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश का प्रतिनिधित्व कर कबड्डी खिलाड़ी संजू देवी ने अंतराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बनाई और देश को स्वर्ण पदक दिलाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई। संजू का बिलासपुर पहुंचने पर भव्य स्वागत किया गया। प्रशानिक अधिकारियों, खेल संघों और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने उन्हें शुभकामनाएं दी। खिलाड़ी ने मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय द्वारा खेल और खिलाड़ियों को दिए जा रहे प्रोत्साहन के लिए आभार जताया।
संजू ने छठवीं एशियन महिला कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेकर बेहतर खेल का प्रदर्शन किया, जिसकी बदौलत टीम इंडिया को स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त हुआ। कोरबा जिले के छोटे से गांव से निकलकर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहचान बनाने वाली कबड्डी खिलाड़ी संजू देवी ने बताया कि पहले वह गांव के छोटे छोटे आयोजनों में भाग लेती थी, जहां से उन्हें सीनियर खिलाड़ी ने जिले के कबड्डी प्रशिक्षक श्री अनुज प्रताप सिंह से मिलवाया,अनुज ने उनकी प्रतिभा को पहचानते हुए प्रशिक्षित किया और बहतराई खेल स्टेडियम में चयन के लिए तैयारी कराई। यहां चयनित होने के बाद खेल प्रशिक्षकों के मार्गदर्शन में उनकी खेल प्रतिभा में निखार आया और उन्हें ये अवसर मिल पाया कि उन्होंने अंतराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश का प्रतिनिधित्व किया।
संजू ने बताया कि 8 घंटे की यात्रा के बाद वे ईरान पहुंची जहां कड़ाके की ठंड थी, प्रतिकूल मौसम से सामंजस्य बिठाते हुए भारतीय टीम द्वारा उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए मलेशिया, नेपाल पर जीत हासिल की गई। फाइनल मैच मेजबान ईरान के साथ हुआ, जहां उन्होंने बेहतरीन खेल का प्रदर्शन करते हुए जीत दर्ज कर भारत का परचम लहराया। संजू ने बताया कि ईरान के नियमों के अनुरूप सभी खिलाड़ियों को रहना होता था, मेजबान देश के सभी नियमों का पालन करते हुए खिलाड़ियों ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया, और भारत को जीत दिलाई। संजू ने जिला कार्यालय में एडीएम शिव कुमार बनर्जी से मुलाकात की। इस अवसर पर तीरंदाजी में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पदक प्राप्त करने वाली खिलाड़ी भी मौजूद थी। एडीएम ने इस शानदार उपलब्धि पर खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं और बधाई दी। संजू ने इस सफलता की यात्रा में सहभागी बने जिला खेल अधिकारी श्री एक्का सहित अपने सभी खेल प्रशिक्षकों और बहतराई स्टेडियम के सभी स्टॉफ का आभार जताया।
