बिलासपुर – साउथ ईस्टर्न कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (एसईसीएल) के अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक (सीएमडी) श्री जे.पी. द्विवेदी ने दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे (एसईसीआर) के महाप्रबंधक श्री तरुण प्रकाश से मुलाकात की। इस महत्वपूर्ण बैठक में सीईडब्लूआरएल (CEWRL) एवं सीईआरएल (CERL) रेल कॉरिडोर परियोजनाओं को शीघ्र पूरा करने के लिए सहयोगी रणनीति पर विशेष चर्चा की गई। लगभग 10 हज़ार करोड़ की लागत से विकसित की जा रही ये परियोजनाएँ रायगढ़ व कोरबा अंचल में 300 किलोमीटर के रेलवे ट्रेक का विकास करेंगी जिससे कोयले के त्वरित परिवहन को बल मिलेगा तथा नेटवर्क कंजेशन से राहत मिलेगी । बैठक में कोयला परिवहन को सुगम बनाने के लिए एसईसीएल को रेलवे रेक की पर्याप्त आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने पर भी जोर दिया गया, विशेष रूप से रायगढ़ क्षेत्र (बरौद एवं छाल साइलो/साइडिंग) तथा बैकुंठपुर क्षेत्र (चर्चा साइडिंग) में रेल रेल की उपलब्धता पर चर्चा हुई ।

एसईसीएल और एसईसीआर के बीच यह समन्वय कोयला खनन क्षेत्रों में रेल कनेक्टिविटी को मजबूत करने, निर्बाध कोयला परिवहन सुनिश्चित करने और लॉजिस्टिक्स सिस्टम को अधिक कुशल बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।

एसईसीएल और एसईसीआर मिलकर बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास एवं रेल परियोजनाओं को गति देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं, जिससे ऊर्जा आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने में सहायता मिलेगी।

बैठक के दौरान एसईसीएल के निदेशक तकनीकी श्री एन फ्रेंकलिन जयकुमार, सर के साथ रहे ।
