बस्तर के 7 जिलों में” बायोटेक किसान हब” के जरिए ली जाएगी फसल
बिलासपुर- प्रोजेटिन राईस से मिलेगा भरपूर प्रोटीन। जिंक राईस एमएस से जिंक की कमी दूर की जा सकेगी। धान की यह दो नई किस्में बच्चों और बुजुर्गों के लिए विशेष तौर पर ध्यान में रखते हुए तैयार की गई है। इन दोनों किस्मों को पहली बार प्रदेश में बस्तर के 7 जिलों में बायोटेक किसान हब योजना के तहत पहुचाया जा रहा है। योजना के लिए चार करोड़ 10 लाख रुपए की राशि मंजूर की गई है।
धान का कटोरा कहे जाने वाले छत्तीसगढ़ के 7 जिलों के किसान पहली बार भरपूर प्रोटीन और जिंक की उपलब्धता वाली धान की फसल लेंगे। बस्तर संभाग के 7 जिलों को इसकी खेती के लिए बायोटेक किसान हब योजना के तहत चुना गया है। इन 7 जिलों में से हर एक जिले के 5 -5 गांव की 1-1 एकड़ कृषि भूमि और 10- 10 किसानों का चयन किया जाएगा। जिनकी मदद से धान की यह दोनों प्रजाति की खेती की जाएगी। आगे चलकर इन खेतों से हासिल उपज को बाजार में बेचकर प्रदेश के दूसरे जिलों तक पहुंचाया जाएगा। इससे बायोटेक किसान हब से जुड़े इन जिलों और वहां के किसानों को प्रति एकड़ अच्छा खासा लाभ होगा। बता दें कि सरकार ने बस्तर संभाग को बायोटेक किसान हब योजना के लिए चार करोड़ 10 लाख रुपए की राशि मंजूर कर दी है।
प्रोटीन और जिंक से भरपूर दो प्रजातियां
इंदिरा गांधी कृषि विश्वविद्यालय रायपुर में तैयार की गई धान की जो दो नई प्रजाति तैयार की गई है उनमें भरपूर प्रोटीन और जिंक की मात्रा है। पहली प्रजाति प्रोजेटिनं राईस बच्चों और बुजुर्गों में प्रोटीन की कमी को देखते हुए तैयार की गई है। सामान्य प्रजाति के चावल में प्रोटीन की मात्रा महज 8 प्रतिशत होती है तो प्रोजेटिन राईस में यह मात्रा 10 प्रतिशत है। इसी तरह जिंक राईस एम एस में जिंक की मात्रा 26 पीपीएम है। जबकि दूसरी किस्मों में इसकी मात्रा सिर्फ 15 पीपीएम है। धान की यह दोनों किस्में प्रोटीन और जिंक की कमी को दूर कर सकेंगी।
परिपक्वता अवधि और उत्पादन
प्रोजेटिन और जिंक राईस एमएस की परिपक्वता अवधि एक समान यानी 125 से 130 दिन है। जबकि प्रति हेक्टेयर उत्पादन क्षमता दोनों की 50 से 55 क्विंटल होगी। रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता से परिपूर्ण होने से धान की यह दोनों प्रजातियां कीट प्रकोप का सामना कर सकती है।
बायोटेक किसान हब के जरिए पहुंचेगी
प्रदेश सरकार ने रिसर्च में मिली सफलता के बाद प्रोजेटिन राईस और जिंक राईस एमएस की खेती के लिए बस्तर संभाग के 7 जिलों के लिए विशेष तौर पर एक योजना तैयार की है। जिसे बायोटेक किसान हब नाम दिया गया है। 4 करोड़ 10 लाख रुपए की राशि से योजना बस्तर,बीजापुर, सुकमा, दंतेवाड़ा, कोंडागांव, नारायणपुर और कांकेर तक पहुंचाई जाएगी। योजना के तहत हर जिले में 5 गांव 10 किसान और 1-1एकड़ कृषि भूमि में धान की इन दोनों प्रजातियों की फसल ली जाएगी। इससे हासिल उपज को बैचकर यह किसान दूसरे जिलों तक यह नई प्रजाति के धान पहुंचाने मैं मदद करेंगे। आगे चलकर इन्हीं किसानों को बकरी पालन से भी जोड़ा जाएगा ताकि वे आत्मनिर्भर बन सकें।
