जबलपुर — अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रज्ञा मिशन के संस्थापक एवं आव्हान अखाड़े के महामंडलेश्वर डॉ० स्वामी प्रज्ञानंद गिरी महाराज को आज मध्यप्रदेश के जबलपुर स्थित कटंगी आश्रम के प्रज्ञाधाम में समाधि दी जायेगी।
गौरतलब है कि शनिवार को दोपहर साकेत मार्ग नई दिल्ली स्थित प्रज्ञाधाम आश्रम में वे चिर निद्रा में विलीन हो गये। जहाँ से कल देर शाम उनको एम्बुलेंस द्वारा सड़क मार्ग से कटंगी लाया गया। महाराज जी के देवलोकगमन की सूचना पर कटंगी में शोक छाया रहा। शाम को लोगों ने प्रज्ञाधाम जाकर महाराज जी के अंतिम दर्शन कर श्रद्धांजलि दी।महाराज श्री का जन्म कटंगी में ही 03 सितंबर 1945 को हुआ था। वे चार भाई और चार बहनों में सबसे बड़े थे। प्रारंभ में शिक्षकीय कार्य करते हुए वे गायत्री परिवार के श्रीराम शर्मा से जुड़े और 30 वर्ष में सन्यास मार्ग में बढ़े और कई देशों की यात्राएं कीं। उन्होंने कटंगी स्थित अपने आश्रम में विश्व के सबसे बड़े पारदेश्वर शिवलिंग की स्थापना भी की है। उन्होंने 21 वर्ष पहले जनकल्याण की भावना से विराट राजसूय महायज्ञ की शुरूआत की और प्रतिवर्ष महायज्ञ कटंगी में करके इस नगर को विश्व पटल पर रखा , ऐसे व्यक्तित्व को विस्मृत नहीं किया जा सकता। आज उनका अभिषेक किया जायेगा तत्पश्चात उनको समाधि दी जायेगी। समाधि के दौरान निरंजन अखाड़ा, जूना अखाड़ा के साथ ही वैष्णव संत भी मौजूद रहेंगे। प्रज्ञाधाम आश्रम के पदाधिकारियों ने कहा है कि कोरोना संक्रमण को देखते हुये जो जहांँ हैं वहीं से महाराज जी को श्रद्धांजलि दें ताकि व्यवस्थायें बनी रहें।
