जम्मू-कश्मीर को लेकर केंद्र सरकार ने ऐतिहासिक फैसला लिया है. जम्मू-कश्मीर से धारा 370 हटाने की मांग काफी लंबे समय से उठती आई थी, लेकिन ये मसला हर बार टलता ही रहा. नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार ने इस फैसले को लिया, जिसे मोदी सरकार के दूसरे कार्यकाल का अबतक का सबसे बड़ा फैसला माना जा रहा है. इस फैसले पर प्रधानमंत्री का कहना है कि ये निर्णय उन्होंने काफी सोच-समझ कर लिया है. और आगे सरकार का कश्मीर को लेकर बड़ा प्लान भी है, ताकि घाटी में विकास को आगे बढ़ाया जा सके।
एक अंग्रेज़ी अखबार को इंटरव्यू देते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कश्मीर के मसले पर बात की. उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीर को लेकर हमारी सरकार ने जो फैसला लिया है, वह पूरी तरह से घरेलू मामला है. हमने इस निर्णय को काफी सोच-समझ कर लिया है, हमें पूरा भरोसा है कि इससे घाटी के लोगों को काफी फायदा होगा.प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने राष्ट्र के नाम संबोधन में घाटी में निवेश की बात की थी और ‘नया कश्मीर’ का जिक्र किया था. इस पर उन्होंने कहा कि मेरी अपील के बाद देश के कई बड़े उद्योगपतियों ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में निवेश करने को लेकर इच्छा भी जताई है।

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आज के समय में खुले वातावरण में आगे बढ़ना जरूरी है, ताकि युवाओं को नए अवसर मिल सकें. उन्होंने कहा कि धारा 370 को लेकर हमने जो फैसला लिया है, उससे कश्मीर के लोगों का भला होने वाला है. इस फैसले से क्षेत्रीय इलाके में कई अवसर पैदा होंगे.प्रधानमंत्री ने घाटी में निवेश को लेकर कहा कि धारा 370 हटने के बाद घाटी में टूरिज्म, कृषि क्षेत्र, IT और हेल्थकेयर समेत अन्य क्षेत्रों में फायदा पहुंचेगा. इससे कश्मीर के प्रोडेक्ट, लोगों को फायदा पहुंचेगा और उन्हें बड़ा मंच मिलेगा.पीएम मोदी ने इस दौरान केंद्र के नए प्लान की भी बात की. उन्होंने कहा कि IIT, IIM, AIIMS के जरिए ना सिर्फ युवाओं को शिक्षा के अवसर मिलेंगे तो वहीं घाटी में रोजगार के अवसर भी पैदा होंगे. उन्होंने बताया कि इसके साथ ही हम रेलवे, एयरपोर्ट समेत अन्य कनेक्टविटी को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा.
