कम चले सिंचाई पंप, उद्योगों ने भी घटाई जल दोहन की मात्रा

जिले का वाटर लेवल 12 से 15 मीटर के आसपास
बलोदा बाजार- पानी प्रबंधन को लेकर किसानों में बढ़ी जागरूकता। सिंचाई पंपों का सीमित उपयोग। उद्योगों में काम के घंटे का कम होना और समय रहते गंगरेल बांध के पानी से निस्तारी तालाबों को भरे जाने के काम के बाद जिले का एवरेज वाटर लेवल 12 से 15 मीटर के आसपास आकर ठहरा हुआ है। संकट जैसी कोई बात नहीं है तो नए बोर उत्खनन पर भी कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं लगाया गया है।
रबी सत्र में इस बार किसानों ने ऐसी फसलों का चयन किया जिसे पानी की कम जरूरत होती है। धान की खेती हमेशा की तरह इस बार भी रबी में शीर्ष पर रही लेकिन इसमें भी शीघ्र तैयार होने वाली किस्मों को किसानों ने चुना। सब्जी की फसलों में भी पानी प्रबंधन को लेकर जो जागरूकता दिखाई उसके बाद सिंचाई पंपों का देर तक चलने का समय घटकर आधा पर आ गया। कोरोना काल में उद्योगों में काम के घंटे कम होने की वजह से भी जल दोहन की मात्रा सीमित रही। सबसे बड़ी मदद गंगरेल बांध प्रबंधन ने दी। जिसने समय रहते बांध के गेट खोले और निस्तारी तालाबों को भरने में पूरा साथ दिया। परिणाम जिले का एवरेज वाटर लेवल 12 से 15 मीटर के आसपास रहने के रूप में सामने है। याने जल संकट जैसी कोई स्थिति नहीं है। वैसे भी इस बार जिले के किसी भी गांव से जल संकट या हैंडपंप सूखने की जानकारी नहीं मिली है। इसके बावजूद पी एच ई का जिला मुख्यालय सतर्क है और फील्ड स्टाफ को अलर्ट रहने का निर्देश दे चुका है।
सिंचाई पंपों का उपयोग सीमित
भू जल स्रोत को लेकर मिल रही रिपोर्ट के बाद विभाग राहत की मुद्रा में है। अपनी जांच में उसने पाया है कि किसानों ने रबी सत्र में धान की फसल को हमेशा की तरह इस बार भी पहली पसंद के रूप में रखा था लेकिन इसमें उन्होंने समय से पहले बोनी को निपटाया और धान में ऐसी प्रजाति का चयन किया जो कम अवधि में तैयार हो जाती है। इसके अलावा फसल चक्र परिवर्तन की सरकार की सलाह भी मानी।इससे सिंचाई पंपों के चलने का समय काफी कम करने में किसान सफल रहे। इससे जल दोहन की मात्रा में काफी कमी दर्ज की गई।
उद्योगों में काम के घंटे कम हुए
कृषि प्रधान जिला होने के नाते जिले में बड़ी संख्या में कृषि उपज आधारित उद्योग संचालित हो रहे हैं। इसमें भाटापारा, बलौदा बाजार और सिमगा में सबसे ज्यादा यूनिटों का संचालन हो रहा है। दाल चावल और पोहा यूनिटों के अलावा डेयरियां भी प्रदेश में पहचान बना चुकी हैं। यह सभी भारी मात्रा में जल दोहन किया करती हैं। कोरोना काल में यूनिटों में काम के घंटे कम करने पड़े क्योंकि अंतर प्रांतीय कारोबार पर लंबे समय तक प्रतिबंध लगा रहा। इसका सीधा असर भूजल स्तर पर पड़ा और इसकी मात्रा भी घटकर आधी रह गई। इससे भी एवरेज वाटर लेवल में ज्यादा गिरावट नहीं आई। बड़े उद्योगों ने भी जल दोहन की मात्रा को नियंत्रित रखा था।
गंगरेल ने भी की मदद
इस बार अप्रैल माह में ही रबी फसल के लिए पानी की उठी मांग के बाद गंगरेल बांध से छोड़ा गया पानी खेतों तक पहुंचाया गया तो निस्तारी तालाबों को भी भरने का काम साथ में किया गया। यह फैसला सही साबित हुआ क्योंकि निस्तारी तालाबों को भरे जाने के बाद भूजल स्तर बढा और किसी भी गांव से हैंडपंप के सूखने की खबर नहीं आई। विभाग इन सभी स्थितियों पर नजर रखे हुए हैं साथ ही मैदानी अमलों से हर गांव की रिपोर्ट मंगाई जा रही है ताकि संकट की स्थिति के पहले ही जरूरी उपाय किए जा सके।
वाटर लेवल 12 से 15 मीटर पर
इन सभी स्थितियों पर नजर रखने के बाद विभाग ने पाया है कि जिले का एवरेज वाटर लेवल इस समय 12 से 15 मीटर के आस पास आकर ठहरा हुआ है। इसमें गिरावट के आसार नहीं है। लिहाजा इस समय नए बोर उत्खनन पर किसी भी प्रकार का कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं लगाया गया है।
