बलरामपुर /अम्बिकापुर । बलॉक डाउन के चलते जंगल क्षेत्र में लकड़ी तस्करों की अवैध कटाई जोरों पर चल रही है ।बलरामपुर जिले में गत 15 दिनों में 40 से अधिक प्रकरण दर्ज किए हैं । इसके चलते बौखलाहट तस्करों ने वन कर्मी को निशाना बनाया ।गत दिवस रेंजर के सामने तस्करों ने वन कर्मी की मारपीट के साथ उनकी वर्दी भी फाड़ दी साथ ही गाड़ी में कुचलने की धमकी भी दी ।ज्ञात हो कि बलरामपुर जिले के चांदो थाना अंतर्गत करचा बैरियर पर वनरक्षक राजेश खलको को अपनी ड्यूटी पर था उन्हें सूचना मिली कि ग्राम पंचायत गौतमपुर, बरसापानी के जंगल में अवैध कटाई कर ट्रैक्टर से परिवहन किया जा रहा है । उसने इसकी सूचना चांदो रेंजर राजेश्वर प्रसाद को दी रेंजर अन्य कर्मियों व अन्य वनरक्षक के साथ गंतव्य की ओर रवाना हुए। रात में ट्रैक्टरों पर इमारती लकड़ी लोडिंग की जा रही थी। देखते ही ट्रैक्टर ड्राइवर फरार हो गया । ट्रैक्टर मालिक चांदो निवासी कृष्णा गुप्ता मौजूद था, वहां से जाने की कुछ देर बाद आरोपी कृष्णा गुप्ता अपने बेटों विकास, ओम प्रकाश गुप्ता व अन्य के साथ वन कर्मी पर हमला बोल दिया उन्हें जमकर लात घुसो से पिटाई कर उनकी वर्दी भी फाड़ दी साथ ही अपनी पिक अप से कुचल वाकर मार डालने की धमकी दी ।
इस तरह की वारदात सुदूर जंगल क्षेत्र में आए दिन होती रहती है । प्रशासन भी अपनी खानापूर्ति कर लेती है । कहीं न कहीं राजनीतिक साठगांठ के चलते इस तरह का अवैध परिवहन संभव है ।वन मंडल अधिकारी इस पर गंभीरता से जांच करें साथ ही छत्तीसगढ़ शासन को ऐसे प्रकरणों पर सख्त से सख्त कार्यवाही के साथ सजा के प्रावधान रखनी होगी ।अन्यथा शासन की मौन रहने से हमारे जंगल की इमारती लकड़ियां इसी तरह तस्करों के भेंट चढ़ती रहेंगी ।
