नई दिल्ली। सीएए के खिलाफ पिछले तीन महीनों से शाहीग बाग में जारी प्रदर्शन पर पुलिस ने सख्ती बरतना शुरू कर दी है। देश में तेजी से फैल रहे कोरोना वायरस के चलते शाहीन बागी में लगे टैंट को पुलिस ने उखाड़ना शुरू कर दिया है। प्रदर्शनकारियों को हटाने के लिए मंगलवार सुबह दिल्ली पुलिस के अधिकारियों और पुलिसकर्मियों की फौज प्रदर्शन स्थल पर पहुंची।
शाहीन बाग में भारी पुलिस फोर्स की तैनाती के बीच प्रदर्शनकारियों के टेंट हटा दिए गए हैं। मौके पर दिल्ली पुलिस के जवानों के साथ अर्धसैनिक बलों के जवान भी मौजूद हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि कोरोना के कारण जैसे हालात बने हैं, हमें एकाएक प्रदर्शनस्थल को खाली कराने का निर्णय किया है। हालांकि, सोमवार रात से ही हलचल शुरू हो गई थी।
दिल्ली पुलिस के अधिकारियों का कहना है कि कोरोना वायरस पूरी दुनिया में तेजी से पाव पसार रहा है. हम सभी लोगों को इसको रोकना है, इसलिए हम शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से धरनास्थल को खाली करा रहे हैं। हमें सड़क भी खाली करानी है, क्योंकि एंबुलेंस समेत कई जरूरी सामानों की गाड़ियों की आवाजाही हो सके।
कोरोना वायरस के कारण देशभर के कई शहरों को लॉकडाउन कर दिया गया है। इसलिए दिल्ली पुलिस ने शाहीन बाग में जारी प्रदर्शन पर रोक लगाने के लिए सख्ती बरती है। बता दें देशभर में संक्रमितों की संख्या तेजी से बढ़ रही है।
