बिलासपुर।डॉ खूबचंद बघेल चौक सरकंडा स्थित परिसर में गंदगी का आलम पसरा हुआ है बड़ी हुई घास खाली-खाली शराब की बॉटल डिस्पोजल पानी पाउच से अटा पड़ा हुआ है । ज्ञात हो कि सरकंडा स्थित डॉ खूबचंद बघेल उद्यान परिसर स्थित बघेल प्रतिमा समिति के सदस्यों की सहभागिता से स्थापित की गई है । उक्त प्रतिमा व पेडस्टल के निर्माण में छत्तीसगढ़ शासन की किसी तरह की सहभागिता नहीं रही है ।
समिति के सदस्यों द्वारा अनेकों बार निगम को ध्यान आकर्षित करने के उपरांत भी डॉ खूबचंद बघेल उद्यान परिसर रेलिंग कई महीनों से टूटी फूटी है। वही शाम को असामाजिक तत्वों का अड्डा बना होता है कैंपस में कभी भी सैकड़ों खाली शराब बोतल आप देख सकते हैं । समिति के सयोंजक भुवन वर्मा उक्त आशय की जानकारी लिखित व मौखिल में सम्बंधित अधिकारी व जनप्रतिनिधियों को अवगत करा चुके हैं नतीजन शून्य ही रह है ।
स्वच्छ्ता के अभाव में गंदगी चारो ओर पसरी है । आज डॉ खूबचंद बघेल चौक सरकंडा बिलासपुर में स्थापित डॉ खूबचंद बघेल की प्रतिमा से असामाजिक तत्वों ने चश्मा फ्रेम को बाहर परिसर के फेंक दिए थे । जिसे आज उद्यान परिसर से प्राप्त कर सम्मान पूर्वक परम श्रद्धेय डॉक्टर बघेल की प्रतिमा पर चश्मा को सेट किया गया ।
