अयोध्या — महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री तथा शिवसेना प्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे अपनी सरकार के सौ दिन का कार्यकाल पूरा होने पर आज विशेष विमान से अपनी पत्नी तथा सामना की संपादक रश्मि ठाकरे और बेटे आदित्य ठाकरे के साथ लखनऊ स्थित चौधरी चरणसिंह इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पहुँचे। फिर वहाँ से सड़क मार्ग से अयोध्या पहुँचकर रामलला का दर्शन किये। और उन्होंने राम मंदिर के लिये अपनी ओर से एक करोड़ रुपये देने का एलान भी किया। सीएम उद्धव ठाकरे ने मीडिया से कहा कि मैं भाजपा से अलग हूंँ हिंदुत्व से नहीं। बीजेपी का मतलब हिंदुत्व नहीं है। हिंदुत्व अलग और बीजेपी अलग है। उनका सरयू आरती में शामिल होने और जनसभा का भी कार्यक्रम था लेकिन कोरोनावायरस को लेकर स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय की एडवायजरी के बाद उनका भीड़ जुटनेवाले कार्यक्रमों को रद्द कर दिया गया।
