रायपुर. छत्तीसगढ़ रीजनल र्साइंस सेन्टर के महानिदेशक श्री एस. एस. बजाज ने कहा है कि पृथ्वी में जीवों की सुरक्षा के लिए ओजोन परत की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। उन्होंने कहा कि ओजोन परत की अनुपस्थिति में सभी जीव-जंतुओं का धरती में जीवन विभिन्न संकटों से घिर जाएगा और उनका अस्तित्व खतरे में आ जाएगा। एस. एस. बजाज आज विश्व ओजोन दिवस के मौके पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में स्कूली बच्चों को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे। इस मौके पर पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता के साथ ही ओजोन परत के महत्व और उसके संरक्षण पर विषय-विशेषज्ञों ने भी व्याख्यान दिया। छत्तीसगढ़ रीजनल र्साइंस सेन्टर के महानिदेशक श्री बजाज ने ओजोन परत की सुरक्षा और संरक्षण के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों की आवश्यकता और पर्यावरण संरक्षण की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने ओजोन परत के महत्व और पृथ्वी पर जीवन को बनाए रखने के लिए इसकी महत्ता के बारे में विस्तार पूर्वक से जानकारी दी। इस अवसर पर विशेष अतिथि व्याख्याता मनीष कुमार अहीर ने ओजोन परत की महत्ता के साथ ही उन्होंने पर्यावरण संरक्षण पर व्याख्यान दिया और स्कूली बच्चों को अपने जन्मदिन के अवसर पर एक वृक्ष अनिवार्य रूप से लगाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता में छात्रों द्वारा बनाए गए चित्रों से पता चला कि छात्र हमारे पर्यावरणीय मुद्दों को कितनी अच्छी तरह से समझते हैं। कार्यक्रम में सावित्री बाई फूले एजूकेशनल एकेडमी शिवोम विद्यापीठ, शासकीय उच्चतर माध्यमिक शाला दलदल सिवनी एवं जोरा के विद्यार्थियों ने हिस्सा लिया और पर्यावरण के प्रति अपनी रचनात्मकता का प्रदर्शन किया। पेन्टिग प्रतियोगिता में छात्रों की रचनात्मक कौशल उभर कर सामने आयी। छात्रों ने ओजोन परत के संरक्षण पर आधारित कलाकृति के माध्यम से अपने अभिनव कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित परियोजना संचालक डॉ. शिरीष कुमार सिंह, वैज्ञानिक – डी., इंजी. अमित कुमार मेश्राम, वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी प्रज्ञा कदम एवं जेआरएफ श्रेया मिश्रा और तारणी वर्मा ने ओजोन परत से संबंधित विभिन्न जानकारियों को साझा किए।
