फ्री मिलेंगे महिला टीम के मीडिया राइट्स, पुरुष टीम के प्रसारण के लेने होंगे अधिकार

स्पोर्ट्स डेस्क. महिला क्रिकेट को जब से भारतीय क्रिकेट बोर्ड (BCCI) ने अपने अंदर लिया है तब से देश में उसकी लोकप्रियता बढ़ी है. अब हर जगह पुरुष क्रिकेटरों के साथ महिला टीम की खिलाड़ियों के प्रदर्शन पर भी बाते होती है. नतीजतन, पिछले कुछ वर्षों में महिला क्रिकेट (Women’s Cricket) की लोकप्रियता विश्व स्तर पर बढ़ी है. वहीं, बीसीसीआई (BCCI) ने हाल ही में आमंत्रित किए मीडिया राइट्स (BCCI Media Rights) यानी प्रसारण के अधिकारों में महिला क्रिकेट के लिए कोई अलग पैकेज की घोषणा नहीं की है और न ही अलग टेंडर प्रक्रिया निकाली है. बता दें कि, आमंत्रित किए गए टेंडर (ITT) में प्रसारणकर्ताओं द्वारा पुरुषों के खेल (Men’s Cricket) के अधिकार खरीदने पर महिला क्रिकेट के प्रसारण के अधिकार उन्हें मुफ्त में दिए जाएंगे. एक खेल वेबसाइट की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार बीसीसीआई ने आगामी द्विपक्षीय सीरीज के खेलों के लिए महिला क्रिकेट के लिए अलग से कोई पैकेज नहीं निकाला है. टेंडर के तहत बीसीसीआई ने महिला क्रिकेट को अन्य सीरीज में शामिल कर दिया है. इसे भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट की अनदेखी माना जा रहा है. बीसीसीआई द्वारा आमंत्रित किए टेंडर में अन्य सीरीज में रणजी ट्रॉफी, ईरानी कप, दलीप ट्रॉफी, विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी, देवधर ट्रॉफी जैसे घरेलू बोर्ड टूर्नामेंट शामिल हैं. बोर्ड ने इन्हीं की श्रेणी में महिला क्रिकेट के अंतार्राष्ट्रीय मुकाबलों को रख दिया है.बीसीसीआई ने हाल ही में शुरू की वुमेन प्रीमिरयर लीग (WPL) के मीडिया राइट्स को पिछले वर्ष 951 करोड़ रुपए में बेचा था. यह अधिकार प्रसारणकर्ताओं को पांच वर्ष तक के लिए दिए गए हैं. उधर, क्रिकेट ऑस्ट्रेलिया और इंग्लैंड एंड वेल्स क्रिकेट बोर्ड की बात करें तो महिला क्रिकेट लीग सहित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुकाबलों के लिए अलग से ही मीडिया राइट्स दिए जाते हैं. इन लीग में महिला बिग बैश लीग (BBL) भी शामिल है. भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम के आगामी मुकाबलों की बात करें तो वह न्यूजीलैंड, दक्षिण अफ्रीका, आयरलैंड और वेस्टइंडीज दौरों की मेजबानी करेगा. द्विपक्षीय सीरीज अगले तीन वर्षों में होने वाली हैं. बीसीसीआई द्वारा जारी टेंडर में सिर्फ पुरुष क्रिकेट की बोली लगाई जाएगी.
