मुख्यमंत्री भुपेश बघेल व चरणदास महंत सहित अंचल के जनप्रतिनिधियों की आतिथ्य में हुआ नये जिला का भव्य उदघाटन

कोरबा का पसान नये जिले में शामिल होगा, हर साल मनेगा अरपा महोत्सव
बिलासपुर, । मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने आज गौरेला-पेन्ड्रा-मरवाही जिले का उद्घाटन करते हुए कहा कि अलग जिला बन जाने से इस दूरस्थ क्षेत्र के विकास को ही गति नहीं बल्कि इसकी समृद्ध संस्कृति को भी आगे बढ़ाने का अवसर मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि- गढ़बो नवा छत्तीसगढ़ की तर्ज पर- गढ़बो नवा गौरेला, पेन्ड्रा अऊ मरवाही।
मुख्यमंत्री बघेल ने गुरुकुल विद्यालय परिसर विशाल जनसमूह व जन-प्रतिनिधियों की मौजूदगी में प्रदेश के 28वें जिले का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने इस मौके पर कहा कि अरसे से की जा रही इस मांग को पूरा करने का सौभाग्य उन्हें प्राप्त हुआ है। आज पूर्व विधानसभा अध्यक्ष और इस क्षेत्र के स्वप्नदृष्टा स्व. राजेन्द्र प्रसाद शुक्ल की जयंती के अवसर पर यह जिला आकार ले रहा है। यह क्षेत्र अपने साथ अद्भुत विरासत समेटे हुए है। नर्मदा नदी, अरपा नदी का यह इलाका उद्गम स्थल है। यहां वन्य औषधियों, वन्य संपदा की विविधता है। यह क्षेत्र भालू जैसे वन्य जीवों के लिए भी जाना जाता है। लेकिन सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यहां के लोगों की बोली है, जो बहुत मधुर है। इस क्षेत्र का विकास अब नये जिले की जरूरतों के अनुसार होगा, जो विकास को गति देगा और संस्कृति को समृद्ध करेगा।पसान सर्किल पेन्ड्रा में शामिल होगा, 18 करोड़ रुपये की मंजूरी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने तानाखार के विधायक मोहित केरकेट्टा के सुझाव पर घोषणा की कि इस नये जिले में पसान राजस्व सर्किल के अंतर्गत आने वाले गांवों को शामिल किया जायेगा, क्योंकि पसान के लोगों के लिए कोरबा जिला मुख्यालय की दूरी ज्यादा है। श्री बघेल ने विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. चरण दास महन्त के सुझाव पर हर साल नये जिले के मुख्यालय में अरपा महोत्सव मनाने की घोषणा भी की।
इसके पहले मुख्यमंत्री बघेल ने नये जिले के जिलाधीश कार्यालय और पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय का उद्घटान किया। उन्होंने इस दौरान 18 करोड़ रुपये के विकास कार्यों को भी स्वीकृति दी।
उद्घाटन समारोह में विधानसभा अध्यक्ष डॉ. चरण दास महन्त, राजस्व मंत्री जयसिंह अग्रवाल, नेता प्रतिपक्ष धरम लाल कौशिक, विधायक डॉ. रेणु जोगी, शैलेष पांडेय व मोहित केरकेट्टा, बिलासपुर महापौर रामशरण यादव, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अजीत जोगी व क्षेत्र के जनप्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे। अतिथियों ने अपने उद्बोधन में नये जिले के गठन के मुख्यमंत्री के निर्णय को लेकर उनका आभार व्यक्त किया।
प्रारंभ में मुख्य अतिथि बघेल एवं अन्य अतिथियों का स्वागत संभाग व बिलासपुर तथा पेन्ड्रा-गौरेला-मरवाही जिले के प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों व क्षेत्रीय जन प्रतिनिधियों ने किया।
