बिलासपुर। जिला पंचायत बिलासपुर के अध्यक्ष उपाध्यक्ष चुनाव हेतु प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के द्वारा नियुक्त पर्यवेक्षक पूर्व सांसद श्रीमती करुणा शुक्ला ने दिनांक 6 जनवरी को कंट्री क्लब कोनी में जिला पंचायत सदस्य, प्रतिनिधियों की बैठक लिया जिसमें जिला पंचायत क्षेत्र क्रमांक 1 से नवनिर्वाचित जिला पंचायत सदस्य श्रीमती स्मृति त्रिलोक श्रीवास ने अध्यक्ष पद हेतु अपनी मजबूत दावेदारी प्रस्तुत की इस अवसर पर कांग्रेस नेता श्री त्रिलोक श्रीवास ने श्रीमती करुणा शुक्ला से कहा कि जिला पंचायत में लगातार दूसरी बार उनके घर से जीत है पिछली बार भी उनकी भाई बहु योगिता श्रीवास जिला पंचायत सदस्य का चुनाव जीती थी और पिछले 25 सालों में त्रिलोक श्रीवास के परिवार ने दर्जन भर से ज्यादा पंचायतों के चुनाव लगातार रूप से जीते हैं, इस अवसर पर यह भी कहा कि जिला पंचायत में 22 में से 13 महिला सदस्य हैं अध्यक्ष पद हेतु महिला सदस्यों को प्राथमिकता मिलनी चाहिए, पर्यवेक्षक श्रीमती करुणा शुक्ला को श्री त्रिलोक श्रीवास ने बताया कि उनकी धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती स्मृति त्रिलोक श्रीवास की यह लगातार चौथी जीत है सन 2015 में श्रीमती स्मृति श्रीवास जनपद पंचायत बिल्हा के सभापति एवं जनपद सदस्य हेतु निर्वाचित हुई थी 2010 में ग्राम पंचायत कोनी की सरपंच बनी थी सन 94 से उनका परिवार लगातार पंचायतों के विभिन्न चुनाव को जीत रहा है और क्षेत्र में अनवरत रूप से सक्रिय है अस्तु जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष हेतु उनकी मजबूत दावेदारी बनती है.. साथ ही त्रिलोक श्रीवास ने अधिकांश निर्वाचित कांग्रेस समर्थित सदस्यों के समर्थन होने की बात भी कही है इस अवसर पर श्री त्रिलोक ने पर्यवेक्षक श्रीमती करुणा समक्ष कहा कि हमारी यह दावेदारी पार्टी के समक्ष है और यदि पार्टी उचित समझेगी तो हम लोग अध्यक्ष का चुनाव लड़ेंगे और यदि पार्टी किसी भी व्यक्ति को अध्यक्ष उपाध्यक्ष हेतु जिला पंचायत बिलासपुर में अधिकृत करती है तो उस व्यक्ति के साथ हम लोग कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर सहयोग करेंगे उसे जिताएंगे.l
