बिलासपुर । अटल बिहारी वाजपेई विश्व विद्यालय बिलासपुर में आज दिनांक 30 जनवरी को राष्ट पिता महात्मा गांधी के पूण्य तिथि और शहीद दिवस के अवसर पर कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि और वक्ता वरिष्ठ पत्रकार रूद्र अवस्थी थे तथा अध्यक्षता आभासी माध्यम से माननीय कुलपति आचार्य अरूण दिवाकर नाथ बाजपेई जी ने किया। सर्वप्रथम अतिथियों ने महात्मा गांधी जी के छायाचित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत किया। अधिष्ठाता छात्र कल्याण डा एच एस होता ने अपने स्वागत भाषण में सभी अतिथियों और श्रोताओं का स्वागत करते हुए शहीद दिवस पर महात्मा गांधी जी को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। तत्पश्चात विश्व विद्यालय के पीआरओ श्री हर्ष पांडेय ने महात्मा गांधी जी के जीवन वृत्तांत पर प्रकाश डालते हुए गांधी जी के विचारों को अपना कर ही मानव समाज अपनी समस्याओं को दूर कर सकता है यह बात कही।
मुख्य अतिथि और वक्ता रूद्र अवस्थी ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि केवल दिवस आयोजित करने से गांधी जी को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि नहीं होगी अपितु सम्पूर्ण भारत के लोगों को उनके विचार और सिद्धांत को अपने जीवन में अपनाना होगा तभी सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि होगी। गांधी जी हर युग में प्रासंगिक रहेंगे। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे कुलपति आचार्य अरूण दिवाकर नाथ बाजपेई ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि विदेशों में हमारी पहचान गांधी जी के कारण ही है। गांधी जी विशुद्ध भारतीय परम्परा के व्यक्तित्व थे उन्होंने जो कहा उसे स्वयं अपने जीवन में लागू किया। अंत में आभार प्रदर्शन डॉ मनोज सिन्हा समन्वयक राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना ने किया तथा कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ श्रीया साहु ने किया। अंत में महात्मा गांधी जी और अन्य शहीदों के श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने हेतु दो मिनट का मौन रखा गया।
इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्य रूप से कुलसचिव शैलेन्द्र दुबे, उपकुलसचिव श्रीमती नेहा यादव, श्रीमती नेहा राठिया, वित्त अधिकारी अलेक्जेंडर कुजुर, डॉ यशवंत पटेल, डॉ पूजा पांडेय, डॉ सीमा बेरोलकर, डॉ लतिका भाटिया, डॉ सुमोना भट्टाचार्य, डॉ कलाधर, डॉ जितेन्द्र गुप्ता, डॉ हैरी जार्ज, डॉ हामिद अब्दुल्ला, डॉ गौरव साहू, डॉ सौमित्र तिवारी, डॉ रेवा कुलश्रेष्ठ, डॉ धर्मेंद्र कश्यप विकास शर्मा, सहित विश्व विद्यालय के समस्त प्राध्यापक, अधिकारी और कर्मचारी गण उपस्थित थे
