बिलासपुर । ऑल इंडिया इंटर यूनिवर्सिटी कराटे टूर्नामेंट 2023 बहतराई स्टेडियम में 17 जनवरी से 21 जनवरी तक आयोजित है । छत्तीसगढ़ के लिए बेहद गौरव की बात है, हमारे बिलासपुर में देश के 188 विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राएं कराटे टूर्नामेंट में शामिल हो रहे हैं । विशाल भव्य सुव्यवस्था के साथ छत्तीसगढ़ में पहली बार गरिमामयी आयोजन के लिए आचार्य ए डी एन बाजपेयी एवं विश्वविद्यालय परिवार को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं बधाई ।

विदित हो कि भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ के तत्वावधान में, अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी विश्वविद्यालय, बिलासपुर द्वारा अखिल भारतीय अंतरविश्वविद्यालयीन कराटे (महिला-पुरूष) प्रतियोगिता 2023 के तृतीय दिवस आयोजन स्थल स्व. बी. आर. यादव स्टेडियम, बहतराई में संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि अरूण साव सांसद, बिलासपुर लोकसभा, शैलेष पाण्डेय विधायक, बिलासपुर विधानसभा एवं विशिष्ट अतिथि डा. एस. आर. कमलेश अतिरिक्त संचालक, उच्च शिक्षा बिलासपुर संभाग के साथ कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष आचार्य अरूण दिवाकर नाथ वाजपेयी कुलपति अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी विश्वविद्यालय, आयोजन सचिव सौमित्र तिवारी, प्रतियोगिता संचालक डा. अजय सिंह, वरिष्ठ खेल अधिकारी डा. बसंत अंचल मौजूद रहे।

मुख्य अतिथि ने अपने वक्तवय में कहा हमारे देश के यश्स्वी प्रधानमंत्री की दूर नीति और खेल के प्रति भावनों का ही असर है की पूरे राष्ट्रस्तर पर विविध प्रकार के खेल का आयोजन किया जा रहा। व्यक्तित्व के विकास में भी खेल महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आज हमारे खिलाड़ी विश्व में भारत का परचम लहरा रहे हैं। हर खेलों में भारतीय खिलाड़ियों ने अपनी पहचान बनायी है जो इन खिलाड़ियों की बदौलत आने वाले समय में और भी मजबूत होगी। श्री शैलेष पाण्डेय ने प्रतिभागी टीमों के खिलाड़ियों को बधाई देते हुए सभी खिलाड़ियों का स्वागत किया। साथ ही कहा कि यह प्रदेश के लिए गर्व का विषय है कि पहली बार यहाँ अखिल भारतीय अंतर विश्वविद्यालयीन कराटे (महिला/पुरूष) प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया है जिसमें राष्ट्रीय एवं अर्न्तराष्ट्रीय स्तर के खिलाड़ियों ने अपने कौशल का प्रर्दशन किया। आयोजक विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति आचार्य अरूण दिवाकर नाथ वाजपेयी ने अपने उद्बोधन में सभी उपस्थित अतिथियों का स्वागत अभिननंदन करते हुए कहा की इस खेल में योजना, एकाग्रता, अभ्यास और दृढ़ ईच्छाशक्ति की जरुरत होती है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत की एक प्राचीन युद्ध कला और महत्वपूर्ण विद्या को जीवंत बनाना बड़ी पहल है। आयोजन सचिव श्री सौमित तिवारी ने बताया की महिला एवं पुरूष वर्ग में अलग-अलग भार वर्ग में मैच रखे गए जिसमें विजेता टीमों को पुरस्कार प्रदान किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में देश के राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के खिलाड़ियों द्वारा प्रतिभाग किया गया।

आज हुए महिला एकल काटा मैच के परिणामों के सम्बंध में जानकारी देते हुए बताया की
बालक एकल कुमते -55 किलो ग्राम में –
प्रथम स्थान, पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय के रजत कश्यप ने स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया,
द्वितीय स्थान, आरटीएमएन विश्वविद्यालय के एलीयास रहीम शेष ने रजक पदक प्राप्त किया,
तृतीय स्थान, पं. दीनदयाल उपाध्याय विश्वविद्यालय के मोहन श्रेष्ठ और जीएनडीयू के मनप्रीत सिंह ने संयुक्त रूप से कास्य पदक प्राप्त किया।
बालक एकल कुमते -50 किलो ग्राम में –
प्रथम स्थान, गुरू जागेश्वर विश्वविद्यालय के श्री सागर ने स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया,
द्वितीय स्थान, एलएनसीटी विश्वविद्यालय के श्री प्रिंस सोलांकी ने रजक पदक प्राप्त किया,
तृतीय स्थान, पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय से श्री शिवंम और जीवाजी विश्वविद्यालय के अजरूद्दीन खान संयुक्त रूप से कास्य पदक प्राप्त किया।
बालक टीम काता में –
प्रथम स्थान, बर्कतउल्लाह विश्वविद्यालय के प्रतिभागीयों ने स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया,
द्वितीय स्थान, गोडवाना विश्वविद्यालय के प्रतिभागीयों ने रजक पदक प्राप्त किया,
तृतीय स्थान, महात्मागांधी विश्वविद्यालय और डीब्रुगढ़ विश्वविद्यालय के प्रतिभागियों ने संयुक्त रूप से कास्य पदक प्राप्त किया।

उक्त प्रतियोगीता में विशेष रूप से बिलासपुर के मुकेश जीशी और शिवम् निर्मलकर (प्रतिभागी, अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी विश्वविद्यालय) ने खेलो इंडिया के लिए क्वालीफाई किया है।
इसके साथ ही सभी विजयी खिलाड़ियों को उनेक उज्जवल भविष्य की शुभकामना दी। उक्त कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय से डा एस.एस. होता, जितेद्र गुप्ता, यशवंत कुमार पटेल, गौरव साहू, मनीष सक्सेना, अविनाश ठाकुर के साथ सभी महाविद्यालय से क्रीड़ाधिकारी, प्रदेश के पत्रकार बंधु, एवं खेल प्रेमी उपस्थित रहे।
