कोरबा(कटघोरा):- वनमंडल कटघोरा के परिक्षेत्र एतमानगर में पिछले 15 दिनों से हाथियों का आतंक लगातार छाया हुआ है।हाथी अब तक कई घरों को क्षतिग्रस्त कर नुकसान पहुचा चुके हैं।और दहशतजदा ग्रामीण रतजगा कर रात गुजारने को मजबूर हैं।इस परिक्षेत्र के अधिकारी गहरी नींद में खर्राटे ले रहे है।तो वहीं वनमंडल अमला भी कोई ठोस पहल निकालने के बजाय महज औपचारिता निभाते हुए हाथ पे हाथ धरे बैठा है।
ज्ञात हो कि एतमानगर परिक्षेत्र के ग्राम सालिहांभाठा मे हाथियों का जमकर उत्पात पिछले 15 दिनों से जारी है।जहां शाम होते ही 45 हाथियो का झुंड जंगलो निकलकर गाँव की ओर कुच करते हैं।इस परिक्षेत्र अंतर्गत वनांचल रहवासी इलाकों में शाम होते ही सड़के सुनसान हो जाती हैं।हाथियों के भय से ग्रामीणों को ठंड में रतजगा कर रात गुजारनी पड़ रही है।गाँव वाले अपने-अपने घरो को छोड़ पक्के मकान व सरकारी भवनों की छतों पर तंबू तानकर शरण लेने को मजबूर हैं।ग्रामीण अपने घरों में रखे धान को बोरियो में भरकर अपने दूर-दराज के परिचितों अथवा रिश्तेदारों के घर भेज रहे हैं।और वह इसलिए कि इस वनपरिक्षेत्र के अधिकारी-कर्मचारी सहित पूरा वनमंडल अमला तो जानमाल की सुरक्षा को लेकर अबतक नाकाम रहा है।कम से कम मेहनत कर उपजाया गया धान तो हाथियों से बचाया जा सके।
15 दिनों से लगातार हाथियों के आतंक से परेशान ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि रोजाना शांझ ढलने के बाद हाथियों से आमना-सामना हो रहा है और जान सांसत में बनी हुई है।लेकिन वन विभाग से हमको किसी प्रकार से सुरक्षा नही मिल रहा है।और न ही कोई सुरक्षा उपकरण दिया जा रहा है।जिससे कि हम अपना व अपने परिवार का हाथियों से किसी प्रकार बचाव कर सके।रोजाना शाम होते ही ग्रामीण अपने-अपने घरों के पास अलाव जलाकर तथा पक्के मकानों में शरण लेकर रात गुजारने को मजबूर रहते हैं।इस प्रकार ग्रामीण दिन में दिहाड़ी करते हैं।और शाम होने के बाद हाथियों से बचने की व्यवस्था कर रात भर बुजुर्ग,महिलाओं के साथ बच्चे भी रात्रि जागरण करते है।जो कि इनके स्वास्थ्य के लिए भी हानिकारक है।15 दिवस बीत जाने के बाद भी हाथियों को खदेड़ने में वनअमला नाकाम साबित होता रहा है।जिसके कारण प्रभावित ग्रामीण भय और आतंक के साए में रहकर जीने को मजबूर है।लगता है किसी बड़ी अनहोनी के बाद कटघोरा वनमंडल हरकत में आएगा।

Next time I read a blog, I hope that it does not disappoint me just as much as this one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read through, nonetheless I genuinely believed you would probably have something interesting to talk about.
